The Lodge is more than just a log cabin. With modern amenities and furnishings, it is just as comfortable as it is charming.
The main space is nicely appointed with a modern kitchen full of everything a gourmet needs to feel right at home: induction cook top, convection oven, fully loaded spice drawer, serving for 8, and tools/gadgets galore.
The remainder of the great room contains an intimate dining area (seats 4), large comfortable couch, wood burning stove, 55" smart HDTV (login to your nextflix, etc.), stereo, DVD, & VHS player (small collection of DVDs).
The two bedrooms offer a king sized Tempur-Pedic mattress and a queen sized guest bed. Library and small office space in guest bedroom provides quite place to read or get some work done.
The fully landscaped yard is just as wonderful as the cabin, cedar sauna, soaking hot tub, outdoor dining area, vegetable garden, fruit trees/bushes, horse shoe pit, and beautiful aspen and pine trees.

I do not live in the area full time but I am available by text or email for whatever you need. I also have a property manager who lives nearby.
Please respect the property and treat it as you would your own home. No smoking indoors. Dogs are negotiable (we do ask for a $30 pet fee). Due to allergies we do not accept cats, so sorry! Intimate social gatherings are acceptable- enjoy yourself, but please respect the neighbors.
My husband, Jason, and I are both design professionals. I am an architect/ jeweler and he is an architect/ builder. The Lodge was our home for 9 years before we moved to Houston for a job. The house is our baby and has been our project since we bought it. It has been a labor of love. We have loved hosting friends and now we are excited to open our circle up to you!
We are both foodies and love to spend lots of time cooking with ingredients straight from the garden or eating at the many wonderful restaurants in the Valley. The easy access to nature is one of our favorite things about Sun Valley and we spend lots of time hiking, skiing, biking, snowshoeing and more. Our two little Shih Tzus accompany us on most of the adventures. The Valley also has so many great events we love to go to. One of our favorites is to pack a picnic basket and go to the Summer Symphony.
We are enthusiastic travelers and love to explore the US as well as as many places around the globe the can possibly get to. Whenever possible we like to get a place with a kitchen so that we can cook but we never neglect the local restaurants!
My goal in life is to experience as much as I can but I often get side tracked by my obsession with creating beautiful things. I am always trying to find a balance!
Some of my favorite places are Sun Valley, Amsterdam, Rajasthan, Anchorage, Santa Fe, Florence and Edinburgh.
