Thank you for your mostly positive review. As you know this is a tropical island which from time to time can contain a few insects which we do our best to keep out of the houses. One of the best ways to remove flies and mosquitoes from inside the house is to allow the natural habitat of harmless geckos which are tiny, silent and deathly afraid of humans to have some limited access to the houses so that they can go after these insects in their natural way. They are actually a good gaurandians and cleaners. If we were to do something to remove these natural insect predators, what guests would find is that the houses would have even more of the tiny annoying insects, instead of the harmless, silent, clean and helpful geckos. So we strive to maintain the Natural Balance which we understand may take a little bit of getting used to buy our guests from the first work, but in the end, once they understand, they are quite happy to have their quiet clean gecko friends as house cleaners.
The beachfront water is constantly refreshed by waves from the open ocean so there is absolutely zero algae. What the guest may have seen is plant-based seaweed which grows on the coral in the ocean. From time to time it detaches and floats up to the beach but this is rare occurrence happening only a few times per year. In any case it is a part of the natural and beautiful cycle of the environment. Indeed seaweed is actually edible ; or within a day or two it is consumed by the ocean in any case so this is not a long-term issue.
I am happy to acquaint new guest with the tropical environments and explain how natural processes work to any guests who comes here. These may be new to some people but they are all 100% natural and normal and harmless.
