This is an airconditioned room good for 4 pax with personal comfort room, hot and cold shower, cable TV, personal ref, wifi and private veranda.
We were appreciative that Dea was able to accommodate us during New Year 2016 for a few days when no other host was returning our inquiry. It was the cheapest listing for Station 2 for our needs which tried it's best to provide the necessities for our stay. Clean towels were prepared, room and bathroom were clean, and the sizeable balcony offered a place to dry our clothes and afforded privacy when needed. Unfortunately, electricity and water were unreliable throughout our stay which was most inconvenient. Regardless of how cheap accommodations are, electricity and water are absolute necessities that ought to be functioning at any given time. There was one ceiling light scarcely illuminating the room. The showerhead pressure in the bathroom was abysmal and could be outshined by a garden pail. A slight hiccup in our booking may have given foreshadowing into what was to be expected. An emergency caused us to delay our trip to beautiful Boracay for one day, and we found that "Flexible" check-in was misleading in this listing as it only applies to non-peak dates according to the host. After requesting the date alteration, the host was adamant we keep our current reservation. Bottom line: imploring us to spend an extra $86 for a one night stay we would not be able to use, just to keep our check-in time the same the following day when we arrived. Otherwise, we were told we had to wait until 3 PM. We expressed our concern that her arrangement would be unfair and not financially smart on our behalf. The host finally allowed us to leave our belongings with the resort staff in the meantime. Upon our arrival, the management and staff were eager to accommodate our original check-in time so that we didn't have the inconvenience of waiting until 2 PM. Original message: Host: "You should have informed us the reason for new rebooking schedule because, we Would like to inform you that if you move your booking date to 31st we will not be able to accommodate you until its 3PM in the afternoon. So I suggest you push thru with your previous booking..." Overall, my companions and I were disatisfied. Half the time, we could not conveniently take showers or charge our mobile phones.
