À propos de ce logement
Brand new three bedroom house lovingly created from a 1909 vintage Craftsman bungalow. My home has many special details that I carefully designed into the house to recreate the craftsman style. The two guest bedrooms and bath upstairs is spacious and provides great privacy from the rest of the house's living space. I am retired and moved to Portland from Alaska where I operated a successful Bed and Breakfast for many years. My home is two blocks west of 13th Avenue, an area that boasts several restaurants, specialty shops, a public library, and a New Seasons grocery store. The Springwater bike corridor is three blocks away and a Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge four blocks walk. Convenient bus service to all parts of the city is another three blocks away.
Please let me know in advance if you need more than one bed as the second bedroom is set up as a sitting room, but can easily be converted to a second bedroom/bed.
Guests will have access to a private suite of rooms on the 2nd floor. They may also use the kitchen and lower living room if they wish. The only part of the house not available to guests is the master suite/bathroom in the back of the house on the first floor.
I love having guests in my house! You are welcome to share my living space, including my kitchen.
I am a retired biologist that worked for the federal government for 35 years in several locations throughout the U.S., most recently in Alaska. I moved to Portland six years ago and now call this home. I have many interests that tend to take advantage of the beautiful state I live in, including skiing, hiking, biking, and camping.
