I, and my family if four stayed from July 15th through the 26th at Charles units at 1004 estates in Victoria Island, Lagos. The positives: Charles us is a great guy, excellent and prompt answers to every enquiries and questions. One of the showers was not draining well, he sent a plumber to rod it out right away. I needed a WiFi he got one activated before I checked inn and worked well throughout. We needed extra bed linen he got us a brand new ones fur the three bedrooms. He scored 85% on this.
The negatives were equally many: On Charles part, his cleaning and maintenance crews were neither good nor thorough. The rooms were swept, but all the dirt were piled under the beds. Maybe they don't understand that first under the bed will eventually be noticed, including empty bottles and plastics. The maintenance crew also were poor, the bathrooms were leaking water all over the floor throughout our stay in the upstairs bathrooms.
Out of Charles control: The 1004 estates is a high density, with rows of high rise buildings. These were old buildings that were not been updated. The units were full of broken fixtures, holes in the walls and the elevators that constantly break down every few hours. Fortunately we stayed on the second floor so we use the stairs most of the time. Finding a parking space is a challenge especially if you come inn after 8pm. Generally, the place Mimic a project in any urban city in the United States. If you want to have a good night rest, please avoid units backing the Ozumba Nvadiwe Avenue, we stayed on Block D5, and we couldn't get any decent sleep at night due to traffic and the contrast blowing of horns which is peculiar to Nigerian drivers.
