To all potential guests, Please note that this is a bad faith review with the sole intention to misguide and damage my Airbnb profile. This situation has been reported as such to Airbnb. The guest is using slander in this review and completely false facts. The reason of this strange form of revenge was that the guest repeatedly told, by message and personally, that there would be an extra charge for additional persons in the room and nevertheless tried to sneak persons at 4:30 AM-5:00 AM several times. In doing so, not only did he tried to wrongfully avoid payment but also tried to breach our security rules which state that all persons sleeping in the property have to be registered at our security gate. Our security guards have been with us for over 20 years now and I have personally hosted over 400 guests through Airbnb in the last 3 years. It is the first time we have had this problem with a guest and it is absolutely false that they tried to extort money from him or even that they tried to charge the guest money. Moreover I have complimented the security guards for not allowing the guest to breach our security rules. Even for unexpected last minute and/or late night guests I offer the solution to provide a deposit in order to avoid being turned down by the security guards. That way if the extra guest arrives there can be a payment. This guest was told of this option but nevertheless tried to sneak in guests. Also, the guest mentions that this is the "worst" Airbnb experience he has ever had. Nevertheless in his reservation request message he mentions that this is his "first" airbnb experience and that the is looking forward to it. This has also been submitted to Airbnb as proof of his intentions of using the review tools to misguide potential guests in order to damage my profile. He even mentions that only "all inclusives charge for extra persons". It is well known that almost all hotels charge for extra persons, again with the dishonesty. Moreover, my Airbnb´s are in a condo-hotel and have the advantage of having access to hotel services (not included in the rent) but I have never advertise them as being a hotel. Regardless of this fact, it is very clear in the description that there will be an extra charge for extra persons. The guest´s other complaints are also absolute lies or half truths with the sole intention of causing damage because the guest could not succeed in getting away in sneaking extra guests to the property. Beach towels were always available to the guest, door keys worked perfectly well, and personnel was very quick (less than half hour) in answering all the guest´s questions and demands. Finally, as it is mention in the description, this is a private owned apartment that has access to hotel services (on demand and not included in the rent). I do not, and never had, advertise this property as being part of a hotel. This is an Airbnb unit and as such we do not provide daily cleaning service or concierge type service. Nevertheless we do offer almost immediate replies, and solutions, to all concerns personally and through the airbnb messaging system. Manteinance services and security services are also available 24 hours in the property in order to avoid unexpected situations that affect the comfort of our guests Do not be misguided by this review, my recommendation is to see the over 250 reviews I have had on this and other Airbnb units that are on the same property. To me is obvious that this very dishonest person wanted to see if he could sneak in persons for free in an Airbnb because he knew all to well that he would not have been able to do so on a hotel. I hope Airbnb takes issue with this kind of behavior and avoids other hosts the problems I had with this guest.
