À propos de ce logement
Quinta Moitas is a beautiful renovated Portugese farm, that we rent since 2006. It's situated in a rural area of Portugal near Oliveira d'Hospital. Excellent contact with our Portugese neighbours (farmers) makes it a unique experience. The quinta has two parts which can be rented together by e.g. family & friends. This advertisement regards the main house (5 people). The other part is a nice and cool studio with separate bathroom and 2 person sleeping room. For renting see Quinta Moitas 7pers
We've been renting the Quinta since 2002, but it's new to AirBnB! So few reviews here except for many in our guestbook, on old-fashioned paper. Quinta Moitas offers an astonishing view over the surrounding valley: Portugese farmland. Our Portugese neighbours add a special touch to the place, welcoming but not bothering you, and bringing over local goods such as wine, potatoes and olives.
Accès des voyageurs
You can use the house and veranda. In summer, life mostly takes place outside and you can cook outside in the outside-oven, as well as enjoy the veranda and make nice walks in the surrounding valley.
Quinta Moitas can only be rented for a week or several weeks.
Échanges avec les voyageurs
You can reach us by phone and e-mail. Our Portugese neighbors Ernesto and Ines can and will help out locally, if needed.
You can only rent quinta Moitas for a week, or several weeks. We do not recommend staying in the Quinta between December and February, as there is no central heating (we do offer electric heating in other months).
Quinta Moitas is cleaned by our neighbour Deolinda. Please do not smoke inside, and only bring pets after consulting us.

I'm a retired teacher, and bought Quinta Moitas in 2005 after falling in love with the area and its friendly people. With the help of friends and Portugese neighbours I completely renovated Quinta Moitas in 2005 and subsequent years. The house is completely renewed, has a great veranda and even its own road since 2013. We've been renting the Quinta since 2006 and have had many (returning) visitors over the years.
