Farmhouse Inn in Woodstock, Vermont exceeded my girlfriend's and my expectations. In fact, the inn ended up being our favorite part of our stay in Woodstock! To start, Tory and Barry's hospitality made us fee right at home. When we arrived there were delicious tea and biscotti waiting for us along with a warm welcome from Tory. Our room was cute, cozy, and comfortable. Barry kindly showed us around the property including their gorgeous multilevel red barn, which not only houses a hourse and chickens, but also has newly renovated floors full of twinkle lights where they host weddings. Both Tory and Barry went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed including providing us with snow shoes so we could explore their beautiful property, recipes when we mentioned we liked something, recommendations for places to visit in Woodstock, and even veggies from their garden and homemade cookies to take home with us. The breakfast at the inn was also phenomenal--completely homemade and local. Before breakfast, Tory and Barry explained where each item came from, which usually was from their own farm (fresh syrup from their trees, pumpkin from the garden for the waffles, eggs from their hens, and squash from their garden). In short, I highly recommend Farmhouse Inn. I for sure will be back! -- Joel and Laura

The breakfast alone was worth the trip. With delicious food fresh from their farm, it was a great way to enjoy the morning. The room was enjoyable and cozy , and our hosts were very cordial. Would definitely stay there again.

My husband and I visited the Farmhouse this past weekend and what a great experience it was! We celebrated our first wedding anniversary and it was so memorable. Tory made the most amazing breakfasts and her home was beautiful.. The room was so clean and cozy and we couldn't be happier. We will definitely recommend the farmhouse in the future! Thank you for everything and hope to be back soon!

By meeting us upon arrival. She greeted us with her dog, and there were chickens out in the yard. What a sight to see. She was very warm and welcoming, and we immediately felt at home. She was most helpful in her recommendations extremely knowledgeable about the area. We were most pleased with her breakfast! She uses all fresh ingredients which made it even more delectable. She made her own Maple Syrup from the Sugar maples in her yard, French toast with Pumpkin butter, and her own yogurt that she made using milk from a nearby cow, which she then had to pasteurize herself! The fresh fruit and sausage were delicious too.

We had a wonderful time at Barry and Tory's place in Woodstock! Our hosts were genuine and friendly and made us feel very much at home. The house is cozy, charming, and clean, and we were able to spend some time enjoying the hiking trails that run through the hills behind the barn. There were delicious cupcakes sitting out for us on arrival, and the breakfast was AMAZING!! We had a great time chatting with our hosts and other guests over breakfast. This was a great introduction to Vermont. Thanks for the incredible stay Tory and Barry!!

Farmhouse Inn was very easy to find, and Tory & Barry were there to meet me with cookies and a nice cup of tea. The room was very well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. The home touch really makes you feel so welcome, lovely toiletries in the shower, yummy breakfast & great local coffee. I was sorry I couldn't spend more time at the Inn and hope to stay there again next time I am in the area.

What an experience! My girlfriend and I planned a ski trip to Killington, VT and decided to stay in Woodstock, VT (had heard how beautiful the town could be + we were trying to avoid the tourist trap areas). We thought our ski day would have been the highlight of our trip, but honestly, we both agreed staying at the Farmhouse Inn was hands down the best part! Tory & Barry are amazing hosts and their beautiful B&B is truly one for the books! We are first greeted at the door with warm smiles and the most amazing peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies you will ever eat (Tori is such an amazing cook & baker!). Tori and Barry were both very welcoming and gave us a nice tour of their beautiful house (the rooms are very well taken care of, the shower has amazing water pressure, sheets are clean, decor is beautiful). They even went above and beyond by giving my gf (horse enthusiast) a tour of the barn to see and pet their horse Yuma! Their estate was absolutely stunning (especially after snowfall). Both hosts gave us suggestions for fun activities in Woodstock (they even let us borrow snow shoes to go on a beautiful hike on their estate) and they suggested great places to eat. Trust me, definitely take their word for restaurant recommendations! They knew the absolute best local hole in the wall restaurants that truly give you a feel of the welcoming Vermont community as well as fun more main stream restaurants with awesome (URL HIDDEN) soon as we thought things couldn't get better, we had a taste of their phenomenal breakfast - SO DELICIOUS! The ingredients were all very fresh (Much of the food was locally grown/raised - farm to table style, which is what my gf and I adore). I would recommend the Farmhouse Inn to anyone visiting Vermont! Farmhouse Inn is close enough to the Killington Ski Resort so travelers do not have to worry about a long morning commute during ski/snowboard day, it is in a beautiful town with stunning New England architecture, it has two hosts that actually made my gf tear up when saying goodbye, it is home to amazing farm to table restaurants, and it has one of the most breathtaking estates I have ever seen. If you're anywhere near the area, I HIGHLY recommend you stay at the Farmhouse Inn! This B&B itself is a site to see and the welcoming feel will definitely make you want to extend your stay! My girlfriend and I absolutely loved the Farmhouse Inn and will be recommending it to all our friends. Next time we visit Vermont, the Farmhouse Inn is 100% where we plan to stay!
