I’d like to take this opportunity to warn hosts of Patrick’s aggressive and at best atypical communication, that made us wonder whether to call the local police during his stay.
I am sorry, though not surprised, to see that he has chosen to publish a review, which he doesn’t back up with any facts or examples.
All guests are entitled to have their personal opinions about a place and a stay, and as a host I do not want to trick potential guests into choosing my listing on false premises. Communication is always difficult, and the Airbnb-system requires the host to include all relevant information, both in text and pictures, for a particular listing. However, if this information is not properly read by the potential guests, then this might create some disappointments.
Fortunately most of my guests seem to be well informed before deciding where to stay, something Patrick very clearly wasn’t. Why that is, I don’t know, but here’s just one example: He complained that the listing was small, despite the fact it is clearly stated in the heading that it is 35 m2. How more accurate than that can you be?
I am sorry Patrick chooses to lie: The pictures were all taken last summer (2016) and this summer (2017), and couldn’t have been much more up to date and accurate. In addition there is nothing more to show, everything has been photographed. My listing is also in a rather exclusive residence constructed 10 years ago, which means the standard and the finishings are very good in addition to having the fascilities described, such as free parking, private garden, swimming pool, wifi etc.
I encourage my potential guests to read the other reviews posted by guests who were here during the same time as Patrick, and also (Hidden by Airbnb) Residenza Romina to get a view of the residence (consisting of two separate residences on each side of the pool, we are on the upper side).
