À propos de ce logement
This site is perfect for 1-2 couples or 1-2 small families looking for fun and adventure (we can take up to 4 kids). Located near the shores of Lake Wanaka, with outstanding views and privacy. We have set up two luxury tents plus a tree hammock tent for the kids (or big kids), provided BBQ facilities, hot showers & flush toilets. It's a beautiful, unique and fun experience in the outdoors quite unlike anything else. Take the hassle out of your camping trip this summer and come glamping in style.
Relax in one of our deluxe 5m round canvas tents, complete with carpet and furnished with a comfortable queen bed (plus a sofa bed in tent 2) and stunning decor. Everything you need for a relaxing weekend is provided. You will have your own custom made private bathroom with a hot shower and a portable flush toilet. All you need to bring is your clothes and food, however I can arrange a shopping service so even your food is there on arrival too. If you want to bring more than 4 people we have set up a tree hammock tent (yes, a tent that hangs in the trees!). This is ideal for children or the adventurous couple. Sleeping Bags, liners and pillows are provided in the hammock tent only. Please let me know if you want to bring more than 4 people as we can fit up to 8, however the property is most suited to 4 adults and 4 children
Accès des voyageurs
Guests can access their glamping site via mountain bike, kayak or car. We have special overnight packages that include a guided 2-3hr mountain bike trip covering some spectacular terrain and/or a 3 hr guided kayak trip across lake Wanaka. These overnight packages include semi-prepared self-cook meals for complete ease. If you are interested in any of these packages please see our other listings. If there are more than two in your party you will need to book via our website.
Alternatively you can drive to your glamping site. The access road to the site is a little rough, lots of potholes and bumps, however a normal car with a bit of clearance can generally get through with little trouble.
Please note this location is based on a farm bordering a scenic reserve. Typical of farms in the area the grass is dry and there are rabbit holes and wild thorn bushes. Guests will be required to park their car on the farm behind a locked gate (which must remain locked at all times) and then walk 3-5min up a hill to the actual campsite. (Moderate level of fitness required). You will be richly rewarded with incredible views from your campsite.
Please note Christmas, New Years and Easter Weekend are all minimum 3 night stays.

Hi, My partner Mikey and I run a business called Explore Life, Luxury Camping which offers a pretty glamourous camping experience as you can see here. We decided to start this business mainly due to our love for the outdoors. Both having travelled abroad widely, we came to appreciate even more the beauty in NZ and love to see others experience it the best they can. That is why we have chosen some of our favorite spots to set up our tents. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
