Until recently, I have been earning my living in a private Thai Massage and Yoga teaching practice since 2002. Now, I split my time 50/50 between that blessed work and practicing somatic (body integrated) psychotherapy. I received my psychology masters at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco in December 2012. I see clients in an agency based private practice internship with the Center for Mindful Psychotherapy, in San Francisco and Oakland.
From my earlier life, I have an MBA, an Organizational Communications BA, and a history with Martial Arts and Wilderness trekking, both personally and professionally to name just a few.
I'm well traveled (35 of the 50 states), and about 15 countries outside this maddening bubble we call the USA. I like to travel, and to learn words from every language I encounter.
I'm a wood Dragon, and probably a 9 on the Enneagram, if that means anything to you.
I'm grateful to have a lot of friends, especially since my family is miles and miles away in Michigan. :)
