What a great find!! We've already been exploring Saigon for 3 months (3 more to go!), stayed 10 nights, wish it could have been longer! Binh Thanh was already our favourite area. Pictures absolutely do not do it justice!! - extremely clean and comfortable in every way. Rare to find an apartment with such a nice balcony that is not over a busy street, so it is quiet (relatively, for Saigon!) - not facing directly onto more apartments (again a rare find) so we enjoyed a welcome sense of privacy - and perfectly positioned for gorgeous sunsets! Well tended plants inside and out, nice. Agnes provides excellent instructions for a smooth arrival and easy access, sadly too many airbnb hosts get this wrong - I have come to dread the days when we move to a new place because of this! Plenty of fans (and aircon)- surprisingly you often find no fans in places so it was good to be able to enjoy a balance between the two - also you can keep the front and balcony door open (like the locals!) and enjoy the cooling afternoon breezes. Best shower pressure we've had to date - and so nice to find an actual top sheet for the large comfy bed (which for some weird reason, other than in hotels, seem to be non existent here, usually just blankets or doonas, which often don't seem properly clean like a sheet can, let alone a blanket in this (URL HIDDEN) partner enjoyed the gym (albeit a humble one) but free, also not often the case - and a nice big pool in the centre of the complex that is more often than not completely unused. The cleaner who comes twice a week is adorable, and must be the best in all of Saigon as we have found no other place this PROPERLY clean! Very handy to have the big Coop supermarket downstairs - really well stocked kitchen so you can enjoy cooking...alternatively a never ending supply of fabulous eats within a few minutes walk, so cheap and so delicious, this is Vietnam afterall.. :) ..hot tip, you MUST jump in a taxi and go to THE BEST roast duck egg noodle soup restaurant, possibly in the world, not just Saigon, seriously!!.. open from 3pm onwards...go early, it is VERY popular....restaurant name: Lương Ký Mì Gia (tell taxi driver number 1 Huỳnh Mẫn Đạt Street), only 5 or 10 mins away, depending on the time of day - JUST DO IT!! Best Banh Cuon lady in Saigon just across the road (from the duck place) if you want the most delicious breakfast you'll ever try...open for breakfast only....SOOOOO GOOD! I could go on and on...in fact I have (URL HIDDEN) really was our favourite apartment to date - we've paid MUCH more for many others - none ticked as many boxes as this place. Just book it!! Thanks again Agnes!!
