This is my extensive review for Adrianna's and Jen's place. I've stayed there for 3 months (February till May). First day I came there (even way too late but the communication with her was excellent!) and moved my things, Adrianna welcomed me with a little gift chocolate on the drawer and gave me a little tour of the house. She provided me enough towels (big ones and small ones), a blow dryer (super essential for me!). I could wash and dry my clothes whenever I wanted, which was effortless since their washer and dryer is super modern and efficient and during the winter time when I needed my clothes to dry quick and fast. The internet was fast, I barely used Netflix, the huge box full of DVDs, or Hulu, but it worked all well. I loved their open kitchen place, all the utensils that they provided me to use and to cook. Every now and then, Adrianna and Jen would leave on the kitchen counter some sweet goodies (cupcakes, brownies, sweet loaves, crackers) to sneak on-the-go which made my morning days already before starting work! Commuting was easy, the nearest bus station was a walk of 5-7 min. to get from there to Davis Square, or in all with means of transport around 15min to get to Porter Square to do grocery shopping. I had enough space in the fridge and in the shelf to store my food - and even some Tupperware to put in my food to take with me to work. Also, I really liked their "coffee counter" where they would store coffee/tea/utensil to make coffee. Whenever I felt too cold or too warm, I was immediately being helped out with either adjusting the temperature in the house or even installing the A/C! Adrianna was very very helpful and every time worked out the issues whenever she could; example: there was once a power breakdown where the house had no electricity but she helped me out and made my stay as comfy as possible. When Spring came, I would spend my days hanging around on the balcony and enjoying the sun in between their greens that they grow on their own (!!!) and the palm tree. Close to their home is also a great community path that leads from Davis Square to Porter Square on which I went jogging almost every day. If I were to go to Boston again and searching for a place to stay - this is the place. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Only caveat: not suitable for people who have a cat allergy!

Adrianna was an amazing host and her place in Somerville was an absolute gem. I stayed here for 6 weeks doing research. The room is very cozy with all the necessary amenities: large closet, desk, tv, comfy bed. Having access to the kitchen and washer/dryer in the basement made my long stay possible. The location is fantastic just a quick walk to a small string of restaurants and bars and about 20 minutes from both Porter and Davis which are both packed with good options (bagelsaurus near Porter for the best bagel i've had). The walk to Davis along the paved bike/walking path made my morning commute something i looked forward to. But more than anything, Adrianna was a very warm, welcoming and communicative host that made my long stay very comfortable. Highly recommended.

I didn't really get to see Adrianna but she was helpful about my late check-in time. She also provided useful information about how to apartment. A lovely spacious room that felt like a home-from-home. In a nice residential area- a great base to explore Boston from.

Adrianna was such an understanding and accommodating host. She really allowed me to feel at home, and was such a great person to talk to. Her home is gorgeous, and her cat is absolutely adorable. The place is in a very nice location, very easy to find and get to, and is within a reasonable walking distance to restaurants and a coffee shop. I would definitely stay here again, and plan on looking for this place first the next time I have a trip to Boston.

Adrianna made it easy to check in and everything went well from there. The room is clean and well-kept and she makes her guests feel at home. The location is solid, about a mile from David Square and right near a nice bike and walking path. I definitely would recommend her as a host!

I have had an amazing time! There was chocolate on my bed when I arrived - just what I needed after a 12 hr trip! Adrianna was super nice and helpful when I had questions or needed something. The apartment was very clean and everything was as just described. The bed was very comfortable and there was fast internet as well as air conditioning available. It was fine with Adrianna that I used her pots and pans etc. to cook my own food. There's also a dishwasher and a laundry machine. The neighborhood was super nice and very very safe, I felt more than ok walking to the subway and coming back in the dark. There's a community path where you can go running nearby (or go for a walk). The place has great access to public transportation and it's easy to get to Harvard, MIT, U Mass and downtown Boston as well as the harbor front. I would always stay there again when in the Boston area, I loved it. In addition, Macy, Adrianna's cat is so sweet and I will definitely miss her company!

Adrianna is an absolute gem of a host! Upon arrival my key was ready for me to pick up since it was in the middle of a work day. The neighborhood is great as well. Quiet but not secluded, close to public transportation with a beautiful bike path to enjoy while you get there. Loads of places to eat, some of which stay open until 12:00am which really helps when you're coming in late from classes. Adrianna is extremely communicative in letting it be known that she is available if there are any questions, concerns or if you need any recommendations or anything in general, really. She is also kind and thoughtful; offering coffee and nibbles. The room and flat itself are very clean and inviting. I completely recommend staying here!!!

I am a researcher at a local hospital at day and foodie by night. I love the San Francisco Giants, baseball, and am originally from California. I love my city and enjoy exploring all its nooks and crannies when I have the time. I also enjoy exploring new cities for baseball and foodie spots. Big fan of coffee and fine wine.

As a host, it means a lot to me to ensure that our guest feels at home. So do not hesitate to ask anything about Somerville/Boston. Happy to chat!
