We will not be at home during your stay, so you can make yourselves at home and enjoy the privacy. However, we are a phone call away to respond to any questions, concerns, or requests for restaurant recommendations...whatever you need!
Would appreciate--if you are willing--your responding to our cockatiel--who gives wolf whistles and knows a bit of lots of tunes-- and changing his food and water cup every other day. If this is not acceptable, we'll find a vacation home for him. Will ask, however, that you take in any mail or newspapers that inadvertently get delivered.
No smoking. Dogs welcome if housebroken and quiet. Please be respectful of neighbors and do not party hearty, play loud music, or slam the gate after a reasonable hour.
Friends call me the Jewish Martha Stewart. Originally from Baltimore, I enjoy diverse communities of kind and interesting people. The husband is from a small town in upstate NY, a marketing guru keen to travel. Both of us work at home, but the joy of living in Center City Philly means we can go out -- on foot -- several times a week for culture or restaurant dining. We travel frequently on to teach innovative quilting techniques to guilds around the country; him, to attend meetings as the president of a small non-profit org. When we leave town, we are pleased to share our home that's chock-ful of comfort, convenience, and charm. And, within an easy walk of everything that's phabulous about Philly!
