Direct Access to all the Touristic sites: World Trade Center, Wall Street, Statue of Liberty, Village, Chelsea, Midtown. Taxi stations are very near, and it is easy to get to from the Newark airport.
Local stores in the area provide all you need for your stay. It is easy and safe to park on the street. Also of interest are the Filipinos district of Jersey City with good restaurants, and the beautiful historical downtown with the best view on Manhattan.
About your hosts: Friendly married couple who live in the apartment on the 1st floor with our 3 boys, we love soccer and Arsenal is our favorite team.

A ) - AIRTRAIN/SUBWAY/PATH
Take the AirTrain from JFK to the Howard Beach station. From there you will exit and get on the subway (NYC Subway). Take the ( A train) heading into Manhattan. Get off at CHAMBERS STREET. Walk two blocks to the WORLD TRADE CENTER PATH (NYC/NJ subway) Station. Take the PATH (Newark train- NWK or Journal Square- JQ). You have two stops you can get off at;
1) EXCHANGE PLACE (3 minutes on PATH); from here walk to the Light-Rail station ( 2 minutes ) and take the light rail ( west-side direction ) and get off at the last stop ( WEST-SIDE STOP ) walk outside and go up the block at Claremont avenue. ( $ 2.20, 20 minutes)
2) JOURNAL SQUARE (10 minutes on PATH); from here you can take a taxi outside the station ( 7-10 dollars, 10 minutes ) or you can take any of the fallowing buses going toward BAYONNE ; # 10, Get off at the corner of JFK boulevard and Claremont Ave, walk down the block ( 1 minutes).# 80, # 440 , get off at the corner of West-Side avenue and Claremont avenue, walk up the block ( 5 minutes.)
Fare is $5, subway fare is $2.25, and PATH trip runs $1.75. You can pay all 3 fares with a Pay-Per-Ride MetroCard, which can be purchased at a MetroCard vending machine at most transit stations.
Offers discount cards or SmartLink Card ($5 card fee): 10 trips/$13.00 reduces to $1.30 per ride. Note: Weekly/Monthly unlimited MetroCards not accepted on PATH. Both SmartLink and MetroCards may be purchased at the nearest PATH station. AirTrain, Subway and PATH run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Sample fares for all airports listed under transportation. By taxi, approximately 45 minutes, with no traffic. . ( Note: ask the driver in advance who covers the cost for the toll )
C) - NEW YORK AIRPORT EXPRESS BUS
Departure is every 20 to 30 minutes. NY Airport Express Bus is Located at the Bus Terminal- board bus for Penn Station- NYC (34th & 7th). At Penn Station exit and take the PATH train (33rd & 6th) – one avenue and a block away. Take the PATH (JSQ train) to Journal Square station (Jersey City). Get off at Journal Square and walk to Journal Square Transportation center (2 minutes). There take any of the fallowing buses going towards BAYONNE ; # 10, Get off at the corner of JFK boulevard and Claremont Ave, walk down the block ( 1 minutes).# 80, # 440 , get off at the corner of West-Side avenue and Claremont avenue, walk up the block ( 5 minutes.) You can also take a taxi from Journal Square. (Cost around 7- 10 dollars, 7 minutes).
You are welcome to our house, treat it like it is yours! We just ask you to follow these few basic rules: No smoking inside the house, yes even in the bathroom! And please do the dishes before leaving and take the garbage out, not cleaning after yourself will result to 100 dollars fine and cancelation of your reservation. If you are having issues with another guest, please notify the house manager imediately and fallow up with an inbox message to the host to avoid any further issues. On the day of your check-in the house manager Lulu will give you a small a folder that contains further house rules and the Wifi password. You must read the house rules . We are doing this to make sure that all guests are comfortable and everyone respects each other space.

Welcome to Nansha and Judith
We are both world citizen, I (Judith) was born in DR Congo, raise in France and living my American dream; My husband Nansha was born in Brussels, grown up in Jersey City. We met in Brooklyn years ago fell in love, bought a house in Jersey City and started a family. We both love food, traveling, people from all part of the world, we are blessed parent of four boys. i love cooking for my family, cleaning up my house, decorating and re-decorating we are both Arsenal fan.
I am a former Financial Analyst; I now enjoy learning Congolese traditional medicine and healthy leaving. My husband is a former soccer coach and NY/NJ Red bulls player, is currently fulfilling his career in sport and scouting over Europe and Africa. So we are temporary relocated in Paris and have our house manage by our wonderful house manager LULU Flores, who lives there and help with our Airbnb guests.

Mon mari (Nansha) est né à Bruxelles et a grandi à Jersey City, On s’est rencontrés à Brooklyn, on est tombé éperdument amoureux et decider d'acheter une maison à Jersey city et commencer notre famille. Nous sommes des heureux parent de 4 garçons. Nous aimons beaucoup voyager, les rencontres avec les gens du monde entier, apprendre des autres cultures et le foot Fans d'Arsenal. Je suis une ancienne analyste financière et je me suis reconverti à la médecine traditionnelle congolaise et l’apprentissage d’une vie saine. Nansha était un ancient joueur de NY/NJ Red bull et coach de soccer a l’université. On est actuellement relocalisé à Paris ou mon mari poursuit son rêve dans le sport et le scouting à travers l’Europe et l’Afrique et notre maison est managée par la merveilleuse LULU flores, qui vie chez nous et s'occupe de notre Airbnb guests.
