Firstly, Raul was helpful and informative before I even got to Bogota. My flight landed close to midnight and he stayed up and waited for me to arrive for check in passed midnight. Raul's English is great too which made my stay even more amazing because he was able to communicate very well with me as my Spanish is limited. He made it feel like home with how welcoming he was and how much I felt free to use anything as if it was my own home. He also helped me with my Embassy appointment, not just by translating but also taking me to the places I needed to get the extra documents for my Embassy appointment. Without Raul I probably would not have completed my appointment correctly. He recommended places to visit and how to get there which saved me from wastng time and money trying unknown places or getting lost. I love his apartment and the neighborhood it is in. It's quaint, quiet and close to many places. I walked to most places except when I went downtown to go to the museums and siteseeing. Raul provided me with a bus card to take the bus for my trip downtown. Raul is close by many restaurants and if you choose to cook, you can too with his equiped kitchen and superarkets are walking distance too. Raul has great taste in decor and his house was always clean and tidy. The apartment complex is very secure as a security guard at the lobby entrance to lock and open 2 doors when entering or exiting complex. The sitting area in the lobby is amazing with bamboos and greenery to be perfect for reaxing etc. My favourite part of my room was my large window that allowed me to cloud and star gaze while laying in bed. I truly enjoyed my stay in Bogota as short as it was and I know it was because of the choice I made with Raul's airbnb listing. When I visit Bogota again, I will definitely be staying at Raul's. Thanks Raul. Your the best!
