* Second Bedroom (suitable for 2 people) with 2 separate single beds (90 cm wide), en-suite shower, wash basin & wc, hair drier and balcony with wonderful views of the Dachstein.
* A Third bedroom (suitable for 2 - 3 people) Large double / twin bed (180 cm wide), single sofa bed (80 cm wide) en-suite bath with shower over, wash basin & wc , LCD TV with Sat & DVD player, ipod dock, room safe, hair drier & south facing balcony.

We are always happy to chat with guests and suggest hiking trails, ski routes and many other local activities.
During the Summer Season (End of May to Mid October) the Dachstein Summercard is included for all guests.
This card allows you free use of all mountain lifts, including the Dachstein Glacier cable car once / week (usually costs €34 / person), free use of all swimming pools and swimming lakes, free use of all toll roads and museum entrances, over 100 local attractions and activities are included!
A Daily Bread Service & Buffet Breakfast is available on request.
Half Board is also available during the winter season.
The local tourist tax in Ramsau am Dachstein is €2.3 / adult / night (adult is from 16 years old), this tax is not included in the airbnb price and will be directly to the accommodation provider at the end of your stay.
Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the house.
Guests are asked to remove their outside shoes and boots as they enter the house.
Pets are not allowed.

I moved to Austria in December 2007 with my husband Rob and 2 sons.
If you asked us why we moved from the UK to Ramsau am Dachstein, we would probably say “we couldn’t get enough of the views”, or “life is an adventure”, or maybe “it’s cheaper than all the ski and hiking holidays”, needless to say we love life in the Austrian alps.
We are also always more than happy to share their wealth of experience and local knowledge with guests, as well as give recommendations or information about ski areas, hiking routes or any other activity or attraction that their guests might be interested in, so that they can really make the most of their time at the Hoffelner.
Having enjoyed many previous renovation projects in the UK, we have undertaken on a comprehensive renovation program of the Hoffelner, including the complete renovation of every bathroom in the house, 17 in total. Also the redecoration and renovation of all rooms, apartments and public areas, including the replacement of 5 kitchens. As well a new wood-pellet central heating system, adding a photovoltaic unit and a new building for storage and garaging.
We still have many plans for improvements at the Hoffelner !
