Our private two bedroom house takes in stunning views of Mount Wellington from both bedrooms, the kitchen/living area, outdoor deck & the entertaining space. The contemporary open kitchen/living area has polished Tas Oak floorboards, modern furniture and a beautiful wood heater. The two bedrooms are generous in size and the comfortable bathroom has a foldaway laundry. Our large garden includes an outdoor entertaining area to enjoy the mountain view.
Our comfortable two bedroom house is completely hidden from the street, making it both private and quiet. The house is on a strata title located at the rear, offset from the street for added privacy. The house has two generous sized bedrooms; the master has an ultra-plush queen bed and the second bedroom has a double bed. The open planned kitchen and living area features polished Tasmanian Oak floorboards and a has a spacious and contemporary feel, and is kept warm and cosy by a wood heater. The modern bathroom has a combined shower and bath, and a laundry with washing machine. Stunning views of Mt Wellington are enjoyed from every room, and also from the outdoor deck and paved terrace area, where you can enjoy our large garden. Off street parking is available for two vehicles, with one undercover carport.
Everything is included to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable: full kitchen with oven, electric stove top, fridge/freezer, and appliances for all your cooking needs. Free wireless internet, desktop computer, digital TV & DVD, dishwasher, washing machine, heat pump, bath towels & linen. Portacot and highchair available on request.
We will not be present during your stay, but will remain in email and mobile phone contact should you need anything.
Lenah Valley is a quiet suburb situated in the foothills of Mt Wellington, a short distance from North Hobart, New Town, and the Hobart CBD. Shops and cafes are located on near by Augusta Rd, and also in the restaurant district of North Hobart, where great shopping can also be found. A bus stop is located less than 100 metres from our house with frequent trips into North Hobart and the city. A taxi into North Hobart will cost between $7-10.

You will have access to the whole house, we will not be staying here with you. You have cupboard space to hang your clothes should you need to. The shed outdoors next to the carport will remain locked.

We try to meet all guests on arrival but this is not always possible. Should you need a hand with anything, please just let us know. Before the time of your stay we will email you documents which provide information on how to find our house, help with technology including WiFi, operating the TV and sound system, laundry and fireplace, and also with information about the area we live in, Lenah Valley. We will give you our personal mobile phone numbers, our email addresses, and you can also contact us through our Airbnb email.
We set the fire at the beginning of your stay - please make sure you read the instructions on this. We do supply firewood.
If you require more kindling during your stay this can be bought from K & D Warehouse in Hobart, or from Caltex Service Station on Augusto Road.
