As a party of 6 (myself, wife, baby, mother and in-laws) the villa suited our needs exactly. Aside from the benefits of having the pool, badminton court etc. it was also well equipped with everyday necessities (kitchen utensils, bathroom supplies etc). As for the location, we found it was the perfect compromise of being close to Split (15 minutes) while still retaining the ambiance of a small village in the hills. Some may find the drive from the centre of the village (zrnovnica) to the villa a bit arduous but it's worth it for the views and an able bodied individual could even do the round trip on foot in about 50 minutes as we did, several times for our morning bakery provisions. In addition to the bakery the village boasts a couple of small grocery shops, a post office, a small bar and a couple of restaurants, one of which, the recently opened Mlin Trattoria, we visited twice during our stay of 10 days as the first meal was so good. The village provides easy access to the main highway for day trips along the Adriatic coast or as far as Dubrovnik (3 hours from the villa). Both the owner and Ivo were helpful and responsive to our queries making for a stress free holiday. We would definitely return to the villa for a future holiday in Split.
