Bonnie's place is located directly on the main strip of restaurants and bars in Condado and in a very safe area. The location simply can't be beat. With a dozen restaurants and bars just outside your door and the beach across the street, you will find plenty to do without needing to go far. The apartment is small but comfortable, and much bigger than a hotel room. We particularly enjoyed the balcony, which we sat out on every night of our stay. The parking space was convenient and located in a private lot behind the building, with easy secure access day and night. The building itself is old but modern and well managed. We didn't take advantage of the laundry, but we did see the coin operated machines on the ground floor of the building - a good option if we had stayed a few more days. With the ocean breeze (and view) we were very comfortable with the windows and door open during the day and evening. The unit also has two AC units and ceiling fans if you prefer it on the cooler side. With all of the hustle and bustle of the city, there is a tradeoff of noise and convenience. The apartment is right in the middle of the nightlife center of San Juan, so be prepared for late night cheers and conversation coming from the street below. But follow the owner's suggestions - run the AC and close the door and you will be fine. We bought some ear plugs too and we slept soundly. Overall I would highly recommend Bonnie's place and would definitely stay there again!

Bonnie's place was perfect! It was very clean and in a great location. Our favorite spot was on the balcony where we could see the ocean while eating breakfast or reading a book. The beach was only one block away and we were near all of the best restaurants. There was a great little pool that was never being used by any of the residents. The parking was also very convenient. The only downside was the amount of noise at night, but nothing a few earplugs can't fix! And the location totally makes up for that. Thanks again Bonnie and Nilda, we had a great time and really enjoyed your place!

Bonnies apt is really nice, actually more than we expected when we rented it. It was clean and had access to a pool and parking space. The apt is located very centrally in the Condado area, two minutes from the beach and to several restaurants and bars. Since the condo is located in one of the main streets where everything is happening, it can be somewhat noisy during night. However, this did not bother us at all even though we had a quiet and calm stay. Bonnie and her friend is superhelpful and easy to get along with. We highly recommend everyone going to San Juan to stay in this apt-it's perfect!

I'd like to start off by saying Bonnie is an exceptional host. She is knowledgeable about the area and gave me realistic expectations about the location, and GREAT recommendations about where to eat and what to do. She's very straight-forward, honest, and willing to answer any and all questions. I can't speak highly enough about her. The space was exactly as described, and matched the pictures. Plenty of space and well-maintained. I felt comfortable from the moment I walked in. I would stay there again without hesitation and recommend this place first to anyone wanting to visit the area. It's completely central so taking a taxi anywhere is quite cheap (15$ each way on avg), and getting to other parts of the island is a breeze. Highly highly highly recommend.

What a great trip to Puerto Rico! This was a perfect listing for our needs, and I'm so glad it was available. The hosts were welcoming, accommodating, offered many suggestions about things to see and do, and were in reach if we needed help, but left us largely on our own to enjoy the property and our trip. Their condo is located just a block from the beach in San Juan's tourist-friendly, upscale Condado area. Lots of big resorts nearby, and many little shops and restaurants, pretty parks and pedestrian plazas. The beaches are all open to the public. The historic area of Old San Juan is 5-10 minutes away by cab or bus. The condo was very clean, comfortable and while not very big was totally well-suited for myself and my husband. The hosts thoughtfully included all the right little ammenities to give it the feel of a hotel, but better:) There is a galley kitchen, living room area with a TV, a bedroom, decent-sized full bathroom and a large, pleasant balcony overlooking the bustling Ashford Avenue and some of the beautiful blue ocean. Be advised -- the area is, from what I understand, somewhat similar to Miami's South Beach. It seemed quit safe and enjoyable to walk around. But at night, it is a bit loud. This didn't bother us very much -- we are from Brooklyn and used to moderate street noise. But if you're looking for total peace and quiet, this location might not be for you.

Wonderful location and a self-sufficient apartment. Bonnie was a very gracious and responsive host and gave great recommendation for sight seeing and eating especially we being vegetarians. The patio outside had a lovely view of the very busy Ashford Street which was lively throughout the night (could be a no-go for someone who is a light sleeper since you can hear faint noises throughout the night). And a parking spot in the building's parking lot was definitely a welcome!

Ashford Ave is in the center of the Condado, in a hotel/casino area. This is why so many restaurants and shops stay open late.
