Spacious double with ensuite bathroom less than 1 minutes walk from the Shadwell Overground station and 10 minutes walk from the City of London including Tower Bridge and easy access to central London as well as Canary Wharf and Stratford.

The room is a spacious double room furnished with a king size (5ft) bed, desk and storage. The apartment is double glazed with gas central heating.

The apartment is on Lowood Street, Shadwell, just off the High Way. The flat boasts excellent transport links and is ideally located for trips into the City and Canary Wharf as well as Stratford.

Wifi, bedding and towels are included.

Kamal was very understanding when our flight was delayed and was ready and waiting for us upon arrival. His place is very near shadwell dlr (2 mins) and 20 minute walking distance to tower bridge and tower hill station. Plenty of food options and conveniencd stores like tesco nearby. The room was large, clean and exactly like pictured. Shared living wasnt an issue - didnt see anyone else during our stay. Kamal replies quickly and took the time to tell us about places to eat and things to do in the area. Thanks for a comfortable stay!

Very comfortable and clean room. Loved being so close to train stations and walking distance to Tower of London (15-20mins). Communal living with several others no issues. Would definitely stay with again and found it reasonably quiet throughout. Kamal and Hussain great guys!

O quarto fica bem próximo a estação de shadwell ( overground e dlr). O Ruim é que é necessário pelo menos uma baldeação no metrô para voltar de qualquer lugar turístico. Muitas vezes 2 baldeações. O lugar eh seguro e bem silencioso. O quarto estava bem limpo; as roupas de cama e toalhas estavam limpinhas e tinha bastante espaço no quarto. A internet é ótima. O prédio pelo lado de fora eh bem feio; e o apartamento em si eh bem desarrumado. A cozinha eh dívida entre os 6 quartos; ela não estava muito limpa e também tinha muito lixo. Não recomendo utilizar a cozinha. Porém apesar de serem 6 quartos não ouvimos barulho e só encontramos uma pessoa uma vez. O quarto que ficamos tem banheiro privativo o que foi ótimo; mas não recomendamos no verão pois as janelas abrem só um pouco e fica muito quente ( não tem ar condicionado).

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear that you found our property untidy and the kitchen in a state that you have recommended others not to use it. However I have to strongly disagree with some of your comments as it’s not a true reflection of the condition of the property in general. Regarding the untidy kitchen - I think in your comments you are confusing an active kitchen with a unkempt, unclean and unmaintained kitchen. A lot of time and effort goes into ensuring the property clean, safe and secure. We service and monitor cleanliness everyday. All communal areas are kept clutter free and are also cleaned every morning and sometimes even in the evenings depending on usage. Everyone staying in the household has access to the kitchen throughout the day and levels of usage vary. We do not expect to find the kitchen in a show room condition every minute of everyday however in general the kitchen is clean and tidy most of the day. This is our first comment about the exterior of the building, ugliness is subjective but I cannot do anything about it. With regards to air conditioning, as I explained to you, it is uncommon to find A/C in old buildings in London due to planning restrictions. We also have very few hot days in the UK to justify the cost. However as a consideration, a fan was provided and the windows do fully open to let in more air. I do tell/show my guests about the windows and how to use them if they require more air flow at check-in. I appreciate all comments and use it for future improvement.

Easy self-check in process. Bedroom itself was fine and quite large. Lock on the bedroom door was temperamental. Communal areas rather worn and could do with updating, but I didn't really need to use the communal areas. Had fridge and TV although didn't use either. Free wifi and hairdryer which was great. Kamal was very helpful regarding leaving luggage after check out.

Kamal and his helper is very helpful and accommodating. The place is very close to Overground and DLR.

Good value and as described Kamal and Hussain very friendly and communicative. Very handy location to DLR station if you want a simple and clean place to get some rest
