You will have access to the first floor of our multi-level bungelow. We will probably see you when we arrive home from work but are away during the day and most weekends but are easily accessible if you need us. Our son and his wife are staying upstairs in a small apartment, so you will most likely see them if you are here on the weekend. We stay a couple nights during the work week at our NashVilla residence, and look forward to welcoming guests to our home.
During the summer, I try to have tomatoes and herbs growing in pots which you may use. The upstairs is being occupied, and the young couple living there also utilizes the kitchen and dining area, if they are at home.
If you are looking for a place to party, this isn't the place for you. We are in a quiet, safe neighborhood, so request that no loud parties take place here and that the house is quiet by 11pm each night. You can stay out later than 11pm, but just ask that you are are quiet when you return. We respect our neighbors and want to maintain our street as a nice, quiet place in which to live. We don't allow pets (we like them, but have allergies) or smoking, either, but will provide you with a pet-free and smoke-free place to stay.
Hi! I'm a happily married mother of 2 adult sons and an accountant, who loves traveling to see the other parts of the world. I also love hiking, kayaking, and gardening and fan of Mr. Money Mustache. My husband, a Belmont University Computer Science Professor, and I like to meet people from all over and share our Nashville home and what we have learned about living and getting around in Nashville. We also have a country house in White House, Tennessee (about 25 miles north of Nashville), and so have room to share our city home with others visiting Nashville.
As a host, we are happy to give you as much privacy as you desire. We understand how difficult it can be traveling and understanding a new city or area and are happy to assist you with any questions or concerns that might arise during your stay. We want you to feel welcome and comfortable during your stay with us and are available as much or as little as you like.
