Lovely room in a house near downtown Montevideo, 3 blocks from the beach, one block from Parque Rodó, and 1.3 Km from the 18 de julio Avenue. The room is fully furnished, amenities are provided. Near several Faculties.
The room is very luminous, with a window and a door that allow the guest to go to the rooftop. It is fully equipped with a bed, desk, bookshelf and library, closet and air conditioner. The room also has a minibar.
The house has a beautiful and spacious living room with fireplace and large windows overlooking the internal courtyard. It has a fully equipped bathroom downstairs (shared with us) . The kitchen is fully equipped, has refrigerator, stove with oven, microwave oven, toaster, sandwich maker, juicer, blender and processor, and coffee maker. Also, guests will have available the washer.

Guests have access to all elements of the kitchen. Towels are changed every 4 days and sheets are changed once a week when the room is cleaned. Anyway, guests can access new towels and sheets if required. The room has air conditioning as well as the living room.
WIFI, telephone for local calls, TV and DVD player (in common areas) are available.

Guests will receive all the necessary advice operated in the city. Cleaning the room once a week is included. Breakfast is included and consists of: toast or biscuits, jam and cheese, tea, coffee and milk.

Places to visit in Montevideo:
Old Town: The neighborhood where the busines district, banks, the stock exchange, classic cafés and boutiques is located. Predominately Art-Deco buildings, colonial churches like the Matrix Church. You can start the tour at Independence Square, to the Main Plaza, the pedestrian Sarandi.
You can see there in the Solís Theatre is the place of artistic performances par excellence, neoclassical, Built in 1856 it is the home of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Montevideo. In the Teatro Solís you can see opera, theater and ballet.
If you prefer other genres, the best rock shows in the club The Hidden.
Contruído early SXX, and recently remodeled, the Agricultural Market Goes neighborhood. It is one of the most typical markets in the region with over 100 vendors with all kinds of goods.
Hop-on, Hop-off bus:
This bus leaves about $ 20 and it browses the most important points of the city. Including the Prado, where you can visit the Blanes Museum has works by Juan Manuel Blanes and Pedro Figari among others and the Japanese Garden is a gem.
About the roast:

No está permitido dejar el aire acondicionado prendido toda la noche, ni durante varias horas en el día. El uso abusivo del aire acondicionado será cobrado.
The use of the AC is forbidden during night. It is also forbidden the abusive use during day time. If abusive use is detected it will be charged.
I have a degree in Psychology, now I'm a master student in Clinical Psychology. I work at the School of Psychology, Universidad de la República.
