The place is pretty awesome for its size. It's small but can accommodate two people. Close to groceries, restaurants and shops. Nishi Kawaguchi is about 10-15 minutes walk.

The place was nice and cosy for two people staying. Everything you need isn't too hard to get to, with stores near by to get you what you need. Getting around was easy too, about 10 minutes walk to the train station, and that gets you around Tokyo easily. Was an enjoyable stay.

Paul was a very kind host. He checked up on us when he had the chance and always replied to our messages. He's very professional in addressing any concerns you have. He also gave very clear directions on how to find the place. He even recommended his favourite place to eat which we also ended up loving. This place is a bit of a walk from the train station, so keep that in mind if you have lots of luggage to carry. As Paul warns, the place is a bit small and is not suited for those expecting a luxury sort of stay. It is very affordable for long stays. If you do stay for a long time, you will have to learn how to sort out the garbage which was actually a very interesting experience since if you stay at a hotel you generally won't learn this

While I did not personally met Paul, he would check in with me through airbnb. The place is a small loft with a step ladder to go up, but has enough room to move around comfortably. The place is in a quiet neighborhood and it's a 10-15 min walk to and from the Nishi-Kawaguchi station with a train that goes directly to Tokyo or Omiya Stations. I had a comfortable stay.

I had a comfortable and pleasant stay, and Paul was easily contactable and gave good directions and made it easy to find the place :) It's more like a loft style with a ladder to access the bed on the upper level. It now has a fridge, washing machine too which is very convenient. It's quite a walk from the station, about 15min for me, but the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, and there is a pretty good Indian food along the way from nishi-kawaguchi station, and also a nice shiatsu place I tried opposite the 100yen Lawson, the one with flowers outside. It's also easy to get to tokyo with a direct train from nishikawaguchi station. At the east exit of the nishikawaguchi station, there is also a famous Chinese restaurant that serves delicious giant gyozas that is run by a descendant of Confucius.

Great little place, convenient for seeing all of Tokyo and comfortable for 2 of us, little difficult to find without the address in Japanese, but once you've walked to the station once it's easily found and great location for hopping on the train and seeing Tokyo, Paul was helpful and replied to emails quickly, thanks for a nice week in Tokyo!
