My husband Aaldrik and I are people who like to meet people from all over the world and give them information about Amsterdam and other things. We have travelled a lot. We travelled through Morocco and Turkey in 1969 and 1970, when not many people did so. I (Sonja) have lived in Indonesia till the age of 9. In 1991 we travelled as bagpackers with our son and a friend of his through Java, Bali and Sulawesi. We are retired now, but we lead a very active life: Aaldrik is a painter and has expositions and I play the violoncello in an (amateur) orchestre.
We like to share with other people our wonderful house at a beautiful location: we have a garden which overlooks a canal and which has a view of a grand mill.
We prepare breakfast for the guests in our diningroom which has a large table. I like in particular to offer the food in nice, little dishes, because I don't like plastics.
You can say that we are "worldpeople".
