Situated in the heart of the harbour village of Charlestown, The Beach Hut is a stone built annexe with a delightful en-suite bedroom and small balcony with sea views. A Continental breakfast is provided daily and there is private parking available.
Charlestown is a small harbour village to the South East of St Austell and is the home of Square Sail - a fleet of square-rigged sailing vessels often used in filming. Most recently Alice in Wonderland and Doctor Who. The harbour was built for the export of China clay produce a few miles inland. There is a fine Shipwreck and Heritage Centre in the village.

The Beach Hut is only 2/3 miles from The Eden Project and 5/6 miles from The Lost Gardens of Heligan and the fishing village of Mevagissey. To the East is the literary town of Fowey - for many years the home of Daphne Dumaurier and Quiller-Couche. Lanhydrock House and Gardens (NT) are within 20 minutes drive, close to Lostwithiel - Cornwalls capital in the days of the Stannary Parliment. Charlestown has a beach on either side of the harbour and there are several pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance.
