This spacious apartment on the 20th floor has fantastic city views , large bedrooms, gourmet kitchen and spacious lounge and dining areas.

BEDROOMS / BATHROOMS
The main bedroom has a King bed, walk through robe and ensuite.

The second bedroom has a Queen bed, and the third bedroom has twin single beds. The family bathroom (with bath) and eurolaundry is located near bedrooms 2 and 3.

KITCHEN
This is a residential size kitchen equipped with everything you need to cook dinner for six people, including full size fridge, oven, stove top and microwave.

THE BUILDING
Freshwater Place is one of Melbournes most exclusive buildings due it’s six star facilities and unbeatable location right on the Yarra River next to Crown Casino. This apartment has access to the facilities on the tenth floor. The facilities on the 10th floor include well equipped gymnasium, swimming pool, spa, sauna, steam room and common areas to relax and take in the spectacular views.

THE LOCATION
This apartment looks over the heart of Southbank and Flinders Street Station. Crown Casino and it’s many restaurants and entertainment options is right next door, and the CBD is a 40 metre walk across the river via footbridge.
Despite being in the middle of the city, the Freshwater Place complex includes a small but well stocked supermarket plus liquor, doctors clinic, and lots of small cafes to grab a quick coffee.
WIFI
We understand that it is important to have fast, unlimited wifi broadband available, which is accessible to multiple devices. We provide this amenity: wifi internet just like you have at home, for no additional cost.
FOXTEL
Gem Apartments subscribe to a full Foxtel package of 95 channels, including all of the movies channels and most sports channels. This is available for use free of charge.

CARPARKING
This apartment comes with secure onsite, side by side parking for 2 cars.

Guests are met at the property by Gem Apartments and shown around.

Gem Apartments has an office within a ten minute walk, and are available each day between the hours of 9am - 5pm if the guest wishes to see us face to face, or a 24 hour emergency number for assistance over the phone.

Southbank is across the river from the city itself, and is lined with restaurants and entertainment, including the Arts Centre and Crown Casino.

Freshwater Place is right in the heart of Southbank with Crown Casino to your left, and Southgate / Arts Centre to your right.

The cbd itself is accessible via four footbridges and is a five minute walk.

Within the Freshwater Place complex itself is a supermarket plus liquor, chemist, doctors clinic and fast food cafes.

There is a tram stop outside Freshwater Place, on Queensbridge Street, or Flinders St Train Station is a five minute walk.

This is a great apartment. Location is perfect, walking distance into the city. This apartment comfortably fits 6 people and having 2 parking spots just made this apartment perfect. Will definitely be requesting to stay here next time we are in Melbourne.

You can't fault the location, however we were quite disappointed with the apartment as it was in very poor condition and not what you’d expect when spending over $500 per night!! Not only was it generally dirty/grubby and the furniture needing replacing, but there were a number of particular aspects that affected our stay. More specifically: - All of the dining chairs being wobbly, which meant we weren’t able/going to use - The bar stools didn’t stay up - The sink in the second bathroom not draining out and pooling - The leather chase in the corner of main living room is due to be picked up by a Vinnies kerbside collection We sent Kellie/the team an email on check-out outlining the above and I was advised that while they appreciated being informed of the units issues, that they wouldn't provide any compensation and that we should have advised them of these issues sooner as they could have arranged alternate accommodation.... This is the first time we've used AirBnB and we won't use it again if other properties don't match what's expected!

Wonderful place and location and facilities and local food and restaurants. Pool, steam room and grassed area kids loved.

Our stay with Gem Apartments was wonderful. The apartment was clean, comfortable and had many amenities that we were very grateful to have. The access to two parking spots is what puts Gem Apartments above the other agencies that lease apartments in this building. Love the apartment, love the location and would absolutely stay here again.

My friends and I couldn't be more pleased with this apartment. First, check in was very easy and I'm grateful that Ben stayed up late to greet us and show us around and make sure we were comfortable. The apt had three king sized beds which made it very comfortable. The living room area made for a nice retreat where we could sit off and chat, all while enjoying the panoramic views of Melbourne. Even on the days that we did have plans to go out, we always looked forward to coming back to the apartment. Security at the apartment was very good - you need your fob to access just about everything so that was comforting to know that there would not be any unwanted guests hanging out in the building. Convenience is one of the great features of this location as well. There are restaurants, a supermarket and a pharmacy downstairs and more than an abundance of other food and entertainment choices a few mins walk along the Yarra. My friends and I were here to see the Australian Open tennis matches and on a few occasions we walked to Rod Laver arena without breaking a sweat. There's also the convenience of a water taxi on the Southbank. I have friends living in Melbourne, and I sent them videos of the apt and they were very impressed as well. I can't imagine staying anywhere else if I have to revisit Melbourne - this apt set the standard extremely high.

My name is Kellie and I started Gem Apartments with one fantastic apartment in 2009. We have since grown to manage a network of 25 apartments around Southbank.

Gem Apartments successfully straddles the traditional serviced apartment market / and individual holiday market by keeping strict control over all of our apartments.

Our apartments are all furnished and fitted out by Gem Apartments to the same standard, and have the same inclusions.

I work full time in the business out of an office on Whiteman Street, and am available for our guests each day.

I oversee each apartment on a daily basis to ensure that each apartment is kept to the standard of Gem Apartments. Value Executive Accommodation with all the touches of home.

Our business is structured to offer our guests all the benefits of individually owned and operated holiday apartments, but with the staff and professionalism behind it to offer our guests peace of mind if something does go wrong.
