Owners are very friendly and love Montana. They are available on a separate part of the property a half mile up the mountain above the cottage and can provide local insight to sights, sounds, beta, and known deals to the area and surrounding areas.
Bears are common on the property, especially during the summer and fall. It is not unusual to see numerous bears roaming around the property along with plenty of whitetail deer, foxes, and birds such as bald eagles. This is Montana and our property is still a corridor for wildlife as we hold onto some of the last remaining open acreage this close to town. Please take care in not leaving food outside unattended.
You will receive a written description of the cottage amenities and its workings when you book. Minimum renter age is 25 years old. Sorry, no smoking or pets are allowed. This is also a drug free environment. Fireworks and outside fires are strictly forbidden on the property due to wildfire danger. We also highly value our neighborhood and the wildlife the surrounds our property and our neighbors. With that we ask that our guests be considerate of our neighbors when outside before 7 am and after 10 pm regarding noise.

My wife, Mollie, and I are avid outdoors people, professional brand ambassadors/spokespeople and myself a professional snowboarder. We moved to Whitefish to raise our family here as we found Whitefish to be more of a community rather then a traditional tourist resort town. We spend as much of our time outdoors hiking, skiing, snowboarding, biking, paddling, and doing yoga. We hope that we can share our community with you and that you can find adventure and inspiration in our beautiful wild places. We LOVE showing off Montana and making sure that our guests get as much local insight as possible to our wonderful and beautiful state.
