Stunning Pembrokeshire detached 4 bedroom farmhouse with beautiful views surrounded by 30 acres of rural Welsh countryside. Sleeps up to 10 guests, with 3 modern bathrooms and off-road parking for up to 6 cars.

This gorgeous West Wales holiday home has lots of character with a wealth of original features such as exposed brick walls, high vaulted ceilings and exposed wooden beams.
The farmhouse combines contemporary comfort and high-end fittings with vintage features such as stone fireplace, oak ledge & brace doors, oak floors and reclaimed & restored cast iron radiators.

This property has both a living room and a lounge, therefore ideal for having a separate grown up living space. There is wifi available in both lounges (the signal can be weak in some areas due to the thick walls). The lounge has a wood burning stove and 3 sofas, one of which a double sofa bed.

The fully equipped kitchen is finished to a high standard and perfect for cooking large meals. It is equipped with everything needed, including a separate fridge and freezer, microwave, large range cooker with 2 ovens and dishwasher. The spacious and bright dining room has a large oak dining table sitting up to 12 guests (there are a couple of steps between the kitchen & the dining room areas so please be aware if you have mobility issues or young children).
The bedrooms are decorated in keeping with the character of the property with vintage style fabrics and accessories. Two bedrooms have a kingzize bed, one bedroom has 2 single beds and bedroom 4 has twin beds which can be made up as a double upon request.

There are two 6-seater picnic tables and a barbecue on the private terrace, perfect for meals in the sunshine.

Targate Farm is a great property for large group holidays or family visits to Pembrokeshire and an ideal base for exploring the many attractions in the area, and its fantastic sandy beaches are a mere 15 minutes away.
Targate Farm is also perfect for enjoying a quiet, relaxing break or making the most of the walking, horse riding or cycling opportunities offered by the rural surroundings. The area is steeped in history with many well preserved castles. Oakwood Theme Park, Tenby and St David's Cathedral are all within reach along with all the attractions of the Pembrokeshire National Park with stunning coastal walks and views. There is a whole range of activities for all the family within 5 minutes, with a nine hole Golf courses, a driving range, Moor Farm Equestrian Centre and Puddle Dock Fly & Coarse fishing. You can also go zorbing, surfing, paddle boarding, and even charter boats.

We had a lovely stay, 7 adults and 2 young children. The house was lovely and well equipped. Just missing a little garden! Lots of parking and lots of places to explore nearby.

Peaceful. Well-equipped. Lovely bedrooms and showers. Lots of communal space for 10 people. Easy parking and access for several cars. Plenty of good beaches from 20 to 40 minutes drive. Well worth it.

My family, husband, 3 boys, and parents, had a wonderful stay in this delightful house. The communication before and during the stay was second to none and when we had an issue with the plumbing someone came to look at it within 20 minutes at 21:30 at night - excellent service! The house was easy to find and very close to Haverfordwest and local beaches. There is a busy main road nearby but there is also a secure gate to keep young children and animals safe. We were warmly welcomed and advised of all the places we could take the dogs to walk, swim etc. The house itself is fantastic. Immaculately clean, beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the lovely open-plan kitchen / dining area which easily accommodated all of us and dogs. The beds were all very comfortable and the rooms were charming with plenty of storage and hangars. The kitchen / utility were particularly well equipped right down to some cling film which came in very handy. From this excellent starting point we were able to easily explore this part of Pembrokeshire as Oakwood Park, Folly Farm, St David's and many beautiful beaches are all within 1/2 and hour's drive. We would definitely recommend this cottage and would certainly come back if we are in the area again. Many thanks

An extremely spacious and comfortable farmhouse in a great location for visiting all that Pembrokeshire has to offer. The house is well kitted out and as a group of 8/10 we were able to prepare meals and dine together. We travelled as an extended family group and the 3 bath/shower rooms meant that we never had to queue! There are a host of amazing beaches within a 30 minute drive of Targate Farm. The location is semi rural and Haverfordwest is within a 10 minute drive with a large Tesco superstore, Morrison's and Aldi available. There is a children's play area and a football field a couple of minutes walk along the lane. I would definitely recommend Targate Farm to larger family groups.

We had a wonderful stay at Targate Farm. There were 6 adults and 2 young children, the house has plenty of space and is very well equipped so that you can easily enjoy your stay. The house is very well located for South West Wales. It is within half an hours drive of St.Davids, Tenby, Broadhaven, Folly Farm - basically anywhere you would want to go is no more than 30 mins away, ideal! There are a few steps on the ground floor, so we had to be very watchful with the kids - but we didn't have any problems, just something to be aware of.

Targate Farm möchten wir gerne weiter empfehlen. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub dort und konnten Paul sogar persönlich kennen lernen. Das Haus ist geräumig, gut eingerichtet und gesamt sehr wohnlich. Gut gefallen hat uns die Lage, der alte Hofcharakter und der dennoch hohe Komfort des alten Gebäudes. Wir wünschen Paul und Emanuelle weiterhin alles Gute und bedanken uns für eine traumhafte Woche.

Targate Farm was my grandfather's house. I was born and spent all my childhood there. I have recently bought the farm and I have spent a lot of time renovating it to a high standard.
