For many the most beautiful part of Dubrovnik Lapad - peninsula where is the apartment Ea.
The apartment is renovated and is scheduled for 2-4 people. It contains two rooms that each has its own bathroom (washing machine), dining room (sofa that can serve as a bed), where there is a large 107 inch plasma TV and kitchen with all necessary appliances (oven, microwave, dishwasher, hand blender, etc.). The apartment has air condition and has interent connection and, if necessary, has a crib (for baby).
Around the entire peninsula, there are beautiful beaches that are away from the apartment Ea, only 350 m. Bus station is 50 m (from apartments) which has a direct line (No.6) for the Old Town (Stradun).
Post office, pharmacies, supermarkets, hospitals, cinemas, restaurants, cafes, are located only 100 m.
The apartment is surrounded by gardens and flowers, and in the front of it is a large stone terrace where you can enyoj in the sounds of birds and a beautiful view of the sunset of the summer evening.
SOMETHING ABOUT DUBRONIK - YOU MUST SEE
- Archaeological Museum
- Cultural History Museum
- Maritime Museum
- Marina Drzica House
- Museum of Contemporary Art
- Ethnographic Museum
Marin Drzic was our famous and dramatic poet. He more interested in domestic guests.
Definitely recommend to visit the maritime museum, because you have an aquarium with fish that reside in the Adriatic Sea and that you may encounter if you love diving.
Dubrovnik has a few screens (internal and external). All films that show the original show (mostly American tj.english language) and translation into the Croatian subtitled. If your are interested I can obtain more information on certain days.
DUBROVNIK SUMMER FESTIVAL
10th July 63rd began Dubrovnik Summer Festival. On Closed and open areas of our city there are music, drama and dance performances. It lasts from 10 July to 25 August. When you walk Stradun (streets in the old part of Dubrovnik) you will see many performances.
Make sure you visit the city walls which proudly stand there for several centuries. Defend in the history of Dubrovnik and no war 22 years ago could not destroy them. They are our pride. I recommend visiting the city walls from 08-11AM and from 6 to 7.30 PM because of the heat.
Hill of Srd stands proudly above the city of Dubrovnik. For tourists year-round open lift that goes from Old Town to the top of the chin Srd. View from the lifts and from the top of the hill on the entire Dubrovnik is indescribable. Do not miss to see.
Our apartment that I have described is on the peninsula, therefore it is surrounded by many beautiful beaches. Sand, stone, what you want.
VISIT Dubrovnik islands
If you have a chance go to visit Dubrovnik islands.
Lokrum is a small island situated opposite the old town and the boat ride there every 15 minutes. There is a legend that the island is cursed by the priests in the past, so has the way a bit mystical. I highly recommend it to visit him and his beach. By the way in Lokrum my brother Philip is a fireman, so please do not burn it because he is going to be tired from work :) The joke of course :)
Elafiti is the name of Lopud, Sipan and Kalamota. The three islands that also have their own charm and beautiful beaches. There are regular services (ship) company Jadrolinija and there are old Dubrovnik sailing ships that offer visitors a full day excursion to the islands with food and drink. (Prices do not know but if you're interested, I'll give you all know).
Below the apartments Ea exist anymore promenade called Uvala Lapad. Wonderful for morning and evening walk with the kids because there are not going cars. Throughout the promenade have restaurants and cafes for refreshment.
GOING OUT IN THE NIGHT
I must admit since I have a child I did not leave much in the evening in Dubrovnik, but I know that bars are open until at least 02AM and in Old Town has a 3-4 discotheque so if you whant I can finde out the time when they are opening.
Bus lines operate from 04AM-01AM. From our apartment to the old town there is a bus number 6 If you stay longer somewhere late at night you have a taxi service operating 24 hours a day.

We were four people staying at Ivonas flat in September. The whole family made us feel so welcome with food, wine, fruits etc. They also arranged transport from and to the airport. All together we had a very pleasant stay!
Ivona was an absolutely amazing host. From the fresh lemonade and figs, hand picked from her garden and served to us as we arrived after our long six hour bus ride, to the lovely and clean apartment, every part of our short stay was amazing!
Ivona is every bit accommodating in making your stay in Dubrovnik work well. Great with directions and tips for restaurants and how to beat the queues.
I would highly recommend you stay here!
Very nice place!! Comfortable and the host was friendly I recommended a lot these place!! Very nice people
We had a perfect time at Ivona's family's house. After a very warm welcome with selfmade liqueur and grappa, we stayed in an fresh and cooled appartment with a great terrace! Nice view, much room, a fully equipted kitchen, close to the beaches and much more. all in all a very friendly family and a highly recommendable flat (and city - dubrovnik is great)!
Ivona's apartment provides a peaceful and very attractive location away from the bustle of the old city, but still accessible by a 15 minute bus ride. We particularly enjoyed relaxing on the attractive outdoor terrace which overlooks the city.
We were very kindly met at the bus station and the warm hospitality extended by Ivona's parents ensured that our stay in Dubrovnik was a delightful one. We would strongly recommend this apartment.
The perfect place to stay if you want to be close to Dubrovnik without the croud! It's a 10 min bus ride to the city and close to every convenient shops (supermarket, pharmacy, restaurants, ...). The Lapad port is very nice too and is worth a visit.
The apartment has it all: perfect location, a nice garden, terrasse, big kitchen fully equiped, 2 bed rooms, each with its own bathrooms. Very clean and confortable.
On top of that, you'll be warmly welcomed and everyone is here for you to make your stay unforgettable!
I have just come back from a lovely holiday in Dubrovnik. Our hosts in Lea Apartment were wonderful, helping us out with lifts to and from the airport, fruit from their garden and advice on what to do and where to eat during our stay. The apartment itself is well laid out and well appointed – like the rest of Dubrovnik it is on a hill so we kept ourselves fit walking to and from the beach!
The terrace that the apartment opens out onto is a real asset, surrounded by the pretty garden with views looking out over the city. It is a sunny spot although the vine canopy provides some welcome shade from the sun. We had our breakfast on the terrace most days, enjoying the grapes and figs Mira brought us.
The apartment is in a good location, quiet and secluded but just a 5-10 minute walk away from the main street with restaurants and bars as well as the bus stop for buses to the old town.
I would thoroughly recommend this apartment and the friendliness of our hosts – if I come back to Dubrovnik I would definitely stay here again.
My friend and I stayed 4 nights at Apartman Ea and we were impressed by the warm and kind welcome. Ivona's family were absolutly fantastic hosts and even invited us for dinner - we had the pleasure to try their homemade wine, grapes, figs and very tasty pastries. Ivona's mother picked us up from the main bus station and showed us to our apartment which was a jewel with the wonderful huge terrace. The apartment is well-maintained and we couldn't choose a better one! It's only a 2 minutes walk from the bus stop and a 10 minutes ride to the Old town of Dubrovnic. We can highly recommend to stay in Lapad.
Very impressed overall, we will definitely come back! Useless to mention that Ivona's family provided us all the information that we needed and more!!!
Dubrovnik was so charming, but not as charming as staying at this apartman! We booked last minute on our way to Dubrovnik and despite coming in late at night, were welcomed by Philip (Ivona's brother) and his mom. They were so amazing, helping to find parking and giving us really good advice on what to do and see in the city during our too short a visit. They were so kind in making sure our visit went smoothly and enjoyably. He and his mom were fabulous hosts. Philip helped us to make sure we were able to connect to the wireless internet. The place was perfect for our stay. It was very roomy with two full bedrooms and two bathrooms. The huge terrace was awesome with great views of the city, though it was raining like crazy one of the days, so couldn't spend too much time enjoying the terrace.
My wife and I had a great time in Dubrovnik, despite the weather, and that was in large part due to having such great hosts. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
The reservation was canceled 13 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
