You have access to everything in the house. You will have the essentials towels, bedding, hair dryer, washing machine, everything. The apartment is suitable for both long term and short term visitors. There is more than enough space to stay home all day or having friends over for a movie or partying.

I am your friendly host. You can ask me anything and I will try my best that you will feel like a local during your visit and leave with full of stories and a good friend.

This is Cihangir one of the most educated and most famous neighborhood of Istanbul. It is inhabited by yuppies, artists, filmmakers and real Istanbullers. You will find everything and awesome people here.

Check this map out to see which awesome public transportation options you have access to: (URL HIDDEN)

This is not a house in a hard-to-find, weird-shaped, uphill street. This is a house in a prime location. Truly, you can't ask a place any more accessible to the modern and historic places and public transportation. You have access to main street which will take you to the center of the city, Taksim Square, in 2 minutes walk.

From Taksim Square you have the options to visit world-famous Istiklal Avenue and walk or take the nostalgic tramway (T2) and world's 2nd subway (T) all the way to the Karaköy, and you will be covering most of the Istanbul you wanted to see :)

Or you can take the subway (M2) at the Taksim Square and visit other major centers and shopping malls, namely: Nişantaşı, Şişli, Mecidiyeköy, Levent, Maslak, Telekom Arena (Home of Galatasaray, a famous football club in Europe).

When you go downhill, in 5 minutes you will be at the unique Bosphorus. On the way to the sea shore, my neighborhood has a nice park with an excellent panoramic view of old Istanbul, Topkapı Palace, Haghia Sophia, Maiden's Tower, Anatolian Side and The Bosphorus. And in night time, people get together there, socialize, have drinks and enjoy a magnificent view of lighted-up Istanbul.

When you hit the sea shore after a 5 minute downhill walk, you reach the modern tramway (T1), which visits all the historic places: Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Grand Bazaar, Basilica Cistern, Süleymaniye Mosque, Golden Horn, Gülhane Park, Archaeology Museum (they have the tomb of the Alexander the Great and most beautiful Hellenistic and Roman statues). These places are in a walking distance, so you can have a nice day or two walking and checking all the old buildings, culture and interesting people, interesting foods, beverages, spices and tobaccos.

From the sea shore, you can take almost any bus to the left (north) and travel along the Bosphorus with the calming view of the Bosphorus, visit Dolmabahçe Palace, Ortaköy, Bebek, Rumeli Hisarı and all the restaurants and cafes along the sea. It is the best route for walking or cycling in istanbul as well. You can walk up to Ortaköy without getting bored, or rent a bike (i can help you with that) and cycle along the Bosphorus up to Sariyer.

When you reach to the seashore from my house, where you land on Tophane and Karaköy, where you can find the Istanbul Modern, they have great exhibitions. Karaköy is full of art houses, galleries, cafes and restaurants crowded by young artists. And Tophane is famous with its hookah places.

If you would like to visit the Anatolian Side and/or The Prince Islands, you can take F1 from the Taksim Square which will take you to the ferry in 2 mınutes. Or you can walk to Karaköy (which is a 5 minutes walk from the point you hit the sea shore) and take the ferry from there and have a coffee and watch fishermen while waiting your ferry to sail away.

I have access all the major transportation options but Istanbul is a city best experienced by walking around and you are close to all those exciting places to go by foot. I assure you that you won't be spending any unnecessary time on transportation but will be able to fill all your time with experiencing Istanbul.
