Peter and I moved to Hendersonville from Alexandria, VA in March 2014 to care for my 92 year old mother. We have lived and worked in Asia, Africa, Europe and South America. Peter is an avid gardener, road biker and cook. Carol is a potter and a member of a cooperative pottery studio -- The Squeaky Wheel -- in the River Arts District of Asheville. We love the natural beauty of Western N.C. and enjoy hiking and camping in our 1985 VW Westphalia camper. Having lived many years in the Washington, DC area, we especially appreciate the pure air, starry nights, light traffic and peacefulness of our home. We have two adult children and two grandchildren.
