À propos de ce logement
A stylish 2 bedroom apartment in the centre of Jerez. Set between the beautiful historic Cathedral and the world famous sherry bodega of Gonzalez Byass, it is perfectly situated to explore the very best of this amazing town on foot. Within a 5 minute walk you are in Plaza Arenal, which is great for eating and shopping but the apartment itself is very quiet in the evening with very little traffic passing by. The apartment is equipped with everything for it to feel like a proper home from home.
The property is unique with its central position, underground parking, amazing views of the Cathedral from the roof terrace and accessibility of the very best of the things to see and do within easy walking distance from the apartment. Including great restaurants, Flamenco and plenty of authentic sherry bars

I live in Medina Sidonia, which is 30 minutes away. so i will arrange for someone to meet you with the key. I will leave you information on how the apartment works and how to get the best out of your stay but it is unlikely you will see me, unless you fancy popping to Medina on the way!
I can put you in contact with someone who runs a great dance academy, 8 minutes walk from the apartment. For anyone who would like to learn to dance Sevillana or Flamenco whilst they are staying here you can book private lessons at 35€ an hour.
Please respect that there are 5 other neighbours in the building and that you come and go quietly, without slamming the front door.
The rubbish bins in the kitchen and the bathroom must be emptied by yourselves on a daily basis and the contents disposed of in the large container at the bottom of the road.
Unfortunately since writing the house rules I have had 2 awkward experiences with guests on the following so just to be completely clear...
You are responsible for the key to the property. if you lock yourself out or leave the keys on the inside of the door and close it by accident you will be responsible for the cost of calling out the lock smith.
The hot water is provided by a gas boiler and there is always a replacement gas bottle in the kitchen. I always explain and demonstrate carefully to clients how to change a gas bottle if needed and there are also instructions on the wall. It is very straight forward. If however you don't follow the instructions and I have to come out to change the gas bottle for you, there will be a charge of 30€
Si vous annulez jusqu'à 7 jours avant le voyage, vous recevez un remboursement à hauteur de 50 % et les frais de service vous sont remboursés intégralement.

I made this wonderful part of Andalucia my home in 2004 and have never looked back. I am passionate about this area of Spain and love the culture, the people and the food. I have always worked in hospitality and tourism and I love what i do. Whilst the apartments and studios are all self contained, as your host i am always on hand for a chat, to give advice or information on where to go and to help you get the best out of your stay.
I run La Vista de Medina with a small team of fantastic local staff and we have created a space that gives you your privacy when you want it but we are always close by if you need us. I want it to feel like a home from home for you so we have paid great attention to detail to make sure you are comfortable and relaxed when you are here. It´s the perfect spot too as a single traveller as you never feel on your own.
As well as the studios and apartments at La Vista de Medina i recently acquired a gorgeous 2 bedroom apartment in the centre of Jerez. Essentially a little get away for me as it is only 25 minutes up the road from Medina and i absolutely love the vibe of Jerez, with its great restaurants, the tradition of the sherry bars and the Flamenco but i also offer it to Airbnb guests.
Finally, for those who require somewhere bigger either on their first trip to the area or for those who haved loved it here and want to come back in a larger group, i have a wonderful large villa with a pool.
What would be philosphy in life...? It´s not the material things that you accumulate in life that are important, it is the people you meet along the way. The conversations and laughter shared over a drink, an alfresco lunch shared on the patio by the pool or a romantic dinner on the terrace over looking the Bay of Cadiz do a lot more to enrich the soul.
The main thing that all of my properties have in common is that there is a lot of attention to detail in the level of comfort your will find. I have enjoyed some wonderful special moments with family and friends in all of them and i want you to do the same too.
If i had a life motto what would it be? rather than Seize the Day..it would be..Enjoy the Moment!
