Our four bedroom house has an available room with new furniture, new bedding, and a queen sized bed. We are located in the south side of Salinas, close to all shopping, and only 20 minutes from beautiful Monterey, 30 minutes to Carmel, & PG. Shared bathroom.
The bedroom is a true guest room, so the drawers are empty. There is a luggage rack on which your suitcase may rest. The room isn't very big, but many people say that they get a wonderful night's sleep. It really is very quiet here at night, so you can open the window and have fresh air coming in as you rest. A flat screen TV has just been added.

Besides your room and the bathroom (which may be shared), you can relax in our music room, kitchen or dining areas.
I have a drawer full of brochures which may help you decide what to do while you are visiting the Monterey Bay area.

We would love to learn about your travels, what brought you to Salinas, etc. We do live here, and I only work part time, so someone is usually around to answer questions, or help in some way. My 92 year old mom lives with us, but you hardly ever see her. She's off to BINGO most of time. My sister lives here part-time too. She's a great help. If my husband and I are off to work, she'll help you with breakfast or any questions.
This is a non-smoking household. We don't have pets and would prefer not to host any. Only approved guests are allowed to stay over.
My husband and I are both musicians. Beyond that, he is a family doctor, and right now I'm playing for a children's musical theater company. We have raised four children, and now we're having fun with our grandchildren. I'm Italian and he's Jewish - oy what a combination!! My husband has done a lot of traveling, and because of him, I've gone to several countries myself, including Africa (South Sudan), India, Mexico, Romania, Ukraine, Italy, Belgium, Germany, and the Netherlands. I still want to see Greece - especially Santorini. My mother, Toni, and my sister, Eileen, live with us.
