We were greeted by Stanislav, Zorka and their cat Chech. Zorka had fresh figs at the ready and also kindly made us coffee after our four hour drive. There was rakija in the fridge (of course, how else to feel at home?), and we got to know our hosts and their hometown.
Stanislav and Zorka are funny, warm and accommodating, considering I ended up extending our stay!
The apartment is clean, with a well-equipped kitchen and dining area. The apartment has air-conditioning, and a terrace where you can enjoy your morning coffee. The bedroom is spacious and you have access to the terrace. The bathroom is well-maintained and you have a washing machine available.
Stanislav and Zorka also provide parking on the premises, although if you aren't used to driving in small streets there is always parking available on the main road less than 5 minutes walk away.
Stobreč is close to Split (there is a bus), and the apartment is situated in a quiet street in the old town away from the hustle of the cafés and bistros (all less than 10 minutes walk away).
The sea is not far at all, it's less than a minute from the apartment and you have found a little gem of the Adriatic - Stobreč.
