À propos de ce logement
Our two-bedroom, top floor apartment is in the heart of Bondi with leafy, sunset outlooks. It's quirky and cosy with friendly wild parrots on the balcony. We love our place, and we want you to feel as much at home here as we do :)
We love our comfortable, quiet and quirky home and we really hope you do too! Over the years it has become filled with interesting books, up-cycled knickknacks, cushions, textiles and art from around the world.
It has lots of fresh air and the balcony is a great spot to chill and hang out with the rainbow lorikeets after days of exploring the beaches and city. The guest room is colourful, spacious and quiet with a wonderful private leafy outlook - nobody looks in on you.

The apartment has two bedrooms, one for us and one for you. It has a comfortable balcony, decent sized fully equipped kitchen with a separate bar fride for you to use (and feel free to use anything else you need) and our own internal laundry. Guests should treat our place as their home too. You will have full access to the entire place except for our bedroom.
The bathroom is shared, but there is also an emergeny toilet on the ground floor of the building.

We do plenty of work behind the scenes to help our guests feel welcome. We genuinely enjoy hosting and we treat everyone as potential friends. When you arrive please just do what you need to do, relax, and make yourselves right at home. Don't worry about standing on any ceremony, we're very easygoing and informal.
Al typically works Monday to Saturday and is around for a couple of hours the evenings chilling in front of the TV. I work at a nearby cafe but my hours aren't nearly so demanding so I'm around a lot more.
We love meeting new people and always enjoy a chat or a drink if you're in the mood. If you're staying for more than a couple of days (and time permits) we will offer to share a meal, but we also make a point to respect your privacy and let you get on with your day.
For longer stays I will occasionally access your room to change your sheets or pop fresh towels in. If you would prefer that I leave these things outside your door instead I'm happy to do so.
We know and love all of our neighbours, so as the weather warms up we have the occasional get together in the back yard for drinks and sometimes even a fire barrel to toast marshmallows over. You're welcome to join us when we do this.
We are always very happy to help, please never hesitate to ask if you need anything.
Guests are most welcome to come, go, cook, eat, shower, launder, relax and watch television at any time of the day or night, provided that noise volumes aren't blasting if others are trying to sleep.
If you want to have a cigarette, please use the balcony.
Please please PLEASE follow any instructions that I've put on our appliances - especially the coffee machine. If you ever have any doubts, just ask! We are always really happy to show you :)
To help us feel secure, please don't invite extra people over during your stay. The room is just for the people specified in your original booking.
We are a fun-loving married couple who thouroughly enjoy hosting and meeting new people.
I grew up just north of Sydney, and I'm obsessed with cooking, literature, art and travel. I'm currently working on starting my own business. Al's a smart, cheeky Scot with a great sense of humour who drives cranes and rides motorbikes - He's quite a character and loves his machines.
We've been hosting consistently for more than a year and we can't get over how much we love it! We travel frequently ourselves, and never get sick of swapping stories and helping people get their bearings in a new place. We love our home and we really try to help our guests feel as comfortable here as we do.
