Live like the locals in our trendy mountain home! We have a beautiful townhome and we have a furnished loft for rent. The neighborhood is young and fun, with immediate bus access to Breckenridge. Our home has been recently renovated.
Our townhouse might look cookie cutter from the exterior, but inside it is unique and cozy. We have renovated it with hardwood floors, a new kitchen, with lots of personality and attention to detail. Most of our furnishings are antique or recycled with the purpose of reducing our carbon footprint, although don't think it'll be musty or second hand.
The loft is private with beautiful mountain views of the ten mile range. It has re-purposed cabinets for storage, shelving, and a place to hang clothes. The bed is a comfy double with a foam mattress that has received excellent reviews from our friends. Unfortunately a traditional box spring won't fit up our loft stairs. I should mention, the stairs are a bit tricky.
Accès des voyageurs
Our guests will have the enclosed loft and share an upstairs bathroom with two housemates. Our first floor has a remodeled kitchen and living area. There is also a front porch with a gas grill that guests may use.
We ask that the guests not access our personal bedrooms without invitation. However, if the downstairs roommate is home, the first floor bathroom may be accessed from his bedroom.
Échanges avec les voyageurs
Our home is cozy, and the three roommates who live here do just that: we live here. We all work full time on the mountain, but are often present in the evenings and at night. Sometimes we like to go out, and if you like to have fun, you might be invited! We are social at home and sometimes have guests over for drinks or family dinners.
Also, we have adopted a cat and a dog. The cat is called Elvis, and he's a big, fat, friendly cat. The dog is Doctor, and he is a low-shedding mutt, also very friendly. If you have allergies, you may have to work hard to steer clear of their affections.
Our house is young and active. You could easily retreat to the loft for some quiet rest, but the town is so exciting. Plan on being out and about, rather than sitting around, because you can always rest when you're dead.
We would like our guests to be neat and tidy enough to make the house comfortable for everyone living there.
Please respect if someone is trying to rest or needs to use the bathroom to rush to work.
Pets must be approved.
No smoking cigarettes in the house.
We are 420 friendly, but most housemates don't partake themselves.
Other drug use is not encouraged.
Please respect the roommate's food and liquor.
Please remember to read the section about parking, and note that the stairs to the loft are difficult. The stairs to the loft are not practical for dogs (dogs can seem to go up, but fall when coming down). The stairs are halfway between a ladder and stairs, and they are very steep.
You might also notice that there are very specific driving directions for arriving because our house does not show up on (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps.
I am a 7 year Colorado resident, but here that still doesn't make you a local. I grew up in Maryland, near Washington DC. I moved out here to teach skiing and guide rafting trips, which I still do as my main sources of income. That's a great thing for travelers, because it puts me right in touch with the tourist industries in the area. I also am a makeup artists, who specializes in zombies and all things haunted.
