I will meet you at the flat and welcome you. I will hand over the key to you and you can live in the flat without any further contact from me until the end of your stay. At the same time you can call me whenever you need and I will be ready to help.
I want to protect my hardwood floors. Please take off your high heels and please don't wear muddy shoes in the flat. I can supply you with comfy slippers if you ask me.
Please keep it tidy and clean during your stay. A cleaning fee applies if the apartment is left dirty. If it is left clean the cleaning fee will be refunded in full. A cleaning lady comes in regularly to help out, however, if you would rather not have this service then it is likely to result in the full cleaning fee being charged. It is important that the flat is kept in pristine condition for myself and other airbnb guests.
Please keep all your valuables locked away safely and remember to lock both the door to the flat and the front door in the interests of security.
Because it is a flat be careful to keep the noise levels as low as possible, late night parties are prohibited.
There are parking restrictions in operation. If you have a car I can provide parking permits at extra cost. Please ask me about this in advance.
No smoking in the apartment or the building.
I studied English Literature and languages at Oxford. I speak French and German. I am a little eccentric I have to admit, however, if you find anything too unusual just tell me and I will change it! I am widowed with one son who is all grown up (well he thinks he is). I love conversation, walking, dancing, pilates, running and talking to birds. I have many friends in America, Italy and Germany and I enjoy keeping in touch with then over the internet. The age range is seventeen to seventy. My other passion is music. The piano is my favourite instrument. I am also keen on football and often visit Chelsea and Wembley. I have a base ball cap with all the player's signatures so you could say that is another of my hobbies. Do not ask me to chose between American football and English. All I can say is one does seem bigger than the other and you can make of that what you will. I adore poetry, Chaucer is one of my favourites and I have recently started to study Chinese songs as I am interested in learning Chinese. I like sweet popcorn with pickle. You see I am eccentric.
