We respect your privacy but are always available should you require assistance. We may be undertaking cattle-work during your stay and you are welcome to join us if you wish.
Clovelly House is an old farmhouse built by a veteran of the First World War for his bride. It is our intention to offer our guests the experience of spending time in this naturally beautiful part of Australia without a hefty price-tag. Not all the lines are straight in the old house these days but we hope you come to realise that it was love that inspired the building of the house and, these days, it is a labour of love to maintain it. Our ethos is to share a little of this history with others.
We provide firewood and you are welcome to use the apples and figs from the garden. Lettuces, parsley, etc. are all for your use too. We hope one day in the future to restore the kitchen garden and produce from this will be available for your use too.
We allow pets, but DO NOT allow them to enter the bedrooms.
You may smoke outdoors only. Please ensure cigarette butts are not left on the lawns or in the garden.
We encourage you to think of Clovelly House as your home. While we are responsible for changing the linen we ask that when you leave, you ensure you the house as you found it. Dishes washed and put away. Floors vacuumed. Bathroom and toilet cleaned.
