A touch of elegance with a laid-back style is what your visit with us will be all about in this century-old character house. Generous rooms, comfortable beds with lots of pillows and of course- the best breakfast in Niagara: home-baked goods, fresh local fruit in season and happiness in every bite.

Outside: Front porch comfy chairs and swing (smoking allowed outside).
Inside: unlimited internet access, 2nd floor washroom for guest use only (shared if both rooms are booked). Breakfast in the dining room on main floor.

We enjoy hearing about our guests' travels and their homes but we know you also look forward to your privacy when you visit with us. We will be available if you have questions and to orient you to the neighbourhood, otherwise we will see you at breakfast!

We love living in Old Niagara Falls! Many of the homes in the area were built in the early 1900's and the streets are tree-lined and safe to walk. Of course the best part is that with only a 20 minute stroll you can be standing at the very edge of the magnificent Horseshoe Falls! Lots of restaurants within walking distance or a short cab ride make dining easy. The hardest part will be choosing where!

We are a 20 minute walk from the Niagara Falls Canada VIA train and GO Bus stations. Taxis are always waiting there should you prefer to ride. There are city bus stops near our home and route maps on hand. Going to Toronto? GO trains and buses make getting from Niagara Falls to just about anywhere easy. Want to do a wine tour? We can arrange a pick up at our door. Flying out of Buffalo? We can arrange door to door taxi service too (and send along a "to-go" breakfast with you if you have an early flight!)

Adults only. No children, please. There is a very friendly and quiet dog and two cats in residence. There is a small bar fridge in the dining room should you have items that need to be kept cool. Ice in rooms is available upon request. Each guest room is equipped with an in/out chain lock for your peace of mind. Breakfast is what everyone talks about at our place: to ensure you enjoy it to the utmost, please let John know if you require a vegetarian or celiac-friendly menu.

Règlement intérieur
L'entrée dans les lieux se fait après 13:00

Smoking outdoors only on the front porch please. Out late? Please be respectfully quiet coming back into the house. (And don't forget your key).
Breakfast is served at 30 minutes intervals beginning from 07:30. You pick!

There is a verse in an old Yusuf Islam song that goes "Well I hit the rowdy road
and many kinds I met there and many stories told me on the way to get there". Years ago, when I was young and first embarked on the road to find out, two things I always wanted and seemed always to be in short supply were a comfortable bed and a decent breakfast. More likely, it was a crowded hostel (sometimes more hostile than hostel) or sleeping on the ground in a bush by the side of the road in the middle of nowhere and most times nothing at all to eat the next morning.

During those times, I told myself that if and when I was ever in the position, I would offer to travelers those two things I rarely had on the road - A safe, comfortable bed at night and a good, hearty breakfast in the morning. And here at Archie's Bunker BnB, that's what we try to do. In return we get to meet like-minded people from all walks of life, hear and share travel stories, world views, cultural observations and a lot of laughter - all the things one should experience on the road to find out. It's 2017 and the start of another new year. So on and on we go, the seconds tick the time out so much left to know, and we're on the road to find out. We hope to see you soon at Archie's Bunker BnB. Travel safely!!
