Description

One bedroom apartment in the vibrant Wash Park West/Baker neighborhood. Fully stocked with all the items you may need for a one night to one month stay. Management, my partner and I, are onsite for any questions.

My partner Robert and I own the apartment community so you will get the benefit of having us on site incase you need anything! The apartment is in a 1920's building so there is some old charm. The apartment has an open kitchen/living room, separate bedroom and separate bathroom. The bathroom is only accessible from the bedroom (in case you will be staying with friends, good to know for who gets the bedroom.) The kitchen has most items for you to cook a full meal. Bathroom includes Dove shampoo and Dove body wash, q-tips, and cotton balls. There is a luggage rack and clothes hangers in the walk-in closet. There are movies in the hallway for you to borrow during your stay and books for your entertainment as well, feel free to leave a book or take a book! The building is part of two other properties that all share a common courtyard. The courtyard includes a table and chairs, other seating, natural gas grill for use, and propane heater. The other buildings include our house and another apartment building. Our dog Usol loves to roam that back courtyard and is not violent. She is very shy, but will never hurt anyone. This is an apartment community and we often hang out in the courtyard, have BBQ's, play outdoor games (ping pong!) and watch movies with a projector in the summer! Feel free to join any of these activities when you stay. The apartment is 420 friendly.

Guest will be provided with the buildings front entrance code and the apartment code a few days prior to arrival (yay! no keys!) Guests are able to enjoy the back courtyard and anything available out there.

If we happen to see guests outside in the courtyard or out front we will say hello and provide you with some places to visit, otherwise we are very hands off unless necessary.

Within a very short walk you will find the South Broadway (SoBo) district with shops, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, pot shops, yoga, bowling, movies, and light grocery shopping. The neighborhood is becoming increasingly popular with all types of people and is great for people watching! During the week most places are open late and on the weekends most bars and restaurants are open till 2am or later.

There is parking available OFF street, please inquire about the availability when you are booking! Depending on the night street parking can be harder to find on street parking across the street from the apartment, but usually there are spots no longer than a block away. There is a bus stop located on the corner of Lincoln and Bayaud. Car2Go is a local car share company that is always accessible in the neighborhood. Uber and Lyft are always nearby if you would prefer not to drive. There is a Bcycle station just a few blocks east on Bayaud if you would like to rent a bike for the day. If you live in a city that has Bcycle already, your membership will transfer!! Highway is only a few short minutes away if you are looking to head to the mountains!
Who would want to leave the neighborhood anyway??

This is an old building so you may hear walking in the hallways, upstairs apartment, and in the courtyard. The hallways are kept clean, but keep in mind they are old and not up to date like the apartments. The laundry room is available for $1 wash and $1 dry but please follow the laundry room rules. Dr. Bronners All Natural Soap/Shampoo in Unscented and Hemp Citrus is provided in the bathroom for guest use. Hairdryer is located under the bathroom sink for guest use. Fresh ground coffee and sugar is also provided in the kitchen for guest use while staying. There is parking available OFF street, please inquire about the availability when you are booking!

This is a busy part of town with A LOT of foot traffic. There will be trash and such out front and we try to keep up the best we can with picking it up.
Because this is a 420 friendly apartment and building, you may/will smell marijuana. If that bothers you, this may not be the apartment for you. Please ask questions if you have concerns or want more information. If you are here to partake in marijuana, please see the house rules and let us know.

Quiet time is from 10pm to 8am Monday to Thursday, 11:45pm to 10am Friday and Saturday.

No parties.

420 friendly and will help with utensils and/or advice if you are traveling for that purpose. 420 smoking is allowed inside or in the courtyard but NO cigarette/pipe/e-cig/splif (tobacco and marijuana) smoking inside the apartment.

If you are traveling for the new recreational activities in Colorado, you may smoke inside the apartment, just be respectful of others and please DO NOT smoke inside on check out day/night. Ashtrays are provided in the courtyard.
If you plan on smoking a lot, please do so outside or near a window.

Please do not smoke joints/blunts/splifs inside the apartment.

No Cigarette/Pipe/eCig/splif smoking in the apartment!

If inviting friends over, please limit it to a few people and no overnight guests please.

No pets please!

Do not throw cigarette butts or trash by the front entryway or in the street!

No candles or incense please. It is a huge fire hazard.

DO NOT use WHITE towels or washcloths for dyed hair or make up removal! There are GRAY towels in the vanity drawers for that use. If you stain/ruin/steal the towels you will be charged.

The building hallway is cleaned every other Monday morning around 9-10am.

Laundry Room has specific rules, please review before using. If you need soap or anything just let me know!

The courtyard is shared with other tenants. Feel free to use this space but please keep it clean. Do not smoke near the buildings backdoor and please use the ashtray and clean up your mess.

Trash goes in the ALLEY trashcans, please do not use the trashcans in the courtyard for your garbage. Trash is Tuesday mornings in the alley and can sometimes be a bit noisy for a few minutes. The city is currently transitioning from trash cans to large black bins with lids. We have been patiently waiting for these and have not purchased news cans in preparation, so we apologize for their condition.

When you enter or leave the apartment building, MAKE SURE THE DOOR IS LOCKED! The front door lock is NOT automatic and must still be manually locked, please don't forget.

The apartment is incredible. If you don't like hotels then this place is an amazing alternative. We will be staying here from now on whenever we come down to Denver! The place is located just south of downtown and an uber is only usually like 5 or 6 bucks depending on when you get one. Brandon and Robert were very kind and informative and some of the sweetest people we have ever met.

Great location, convenient for everything we wanted to see and do in Denver. I would mention that the apartment is on the first floor of an older building, and the upstairs neighbors were fairly loud when walking around. If you like to sleep in past 9 am, this might be a problem for you... The neighbors were quiet and respectful on all other accounts.

Really enjoyed my stay here! The area is hip, lively, and fun, but also quiet enough that you sleep well and can have a lovely night in. The apartment was very clean and cozy - I felt at home right away. Lastly, the hosts are a delight - they did a great job of responding quickly to any messages or questions - all in all I would definitely recommend you check this place out!

Really enjoyed our stay. This location is near several great hangouts so we spent a lot of time in the neighborhood. The apartment is cute and Brandon and Robert had all the info we needed clearly posted. Nice clean apartment. We would definitely stay again.

My son and I felt right at home in Brandon and Robert's apartment. We arrived in the wee hours after a late flight, and it was such a pleasure to find the sofa bed already made up and ready for my son, and cold beer in the fridge for mom. The roomy apartment is furnished thoughtfully with nice furniture and fresh window treatments. It looks like a "model" home, yet the beautiful hardwood floors and exposed brick give it a warm and comfortable feel. The kitchen had everything we needed and we enjoyed many meals in it while we were there. The neighborhood is awesome, and we never once had to use our car to find good places to eat. The apartment is very convenient to all the shops and restaurants along Broadway, and Brandon and Robert provide a thorough guide to help you decide where to go. We can't wait to visit again. Cheers!

Brandon and Robert were great hosts! They were really helpful with tips on what to do in Denver. The apartment itself is close to a lot of things in Denver and also only an hour and a half from the mountains. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family!
