Sapa is a delightful French hill station built in the early years of the century and one of the most beautiful tourist attractions in Vietnam. High in the mountains of northwestern Vietnam, Sapa offers great trekking and a kaleidoscope of ethnic groups. This trip provides you a glimpse of local hill tribes and opportunities to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Sapa.
Night 1: You will get picked up at your hotel and then transfer to Hanoi Railway station for your night train journey from Vietnam's capital city to the border town of Lao Cai.
Day 1: SaPa- Cat Cat - Sin Chai (B, L, D)
Arrive in Laocai station at around 6am, you are picked up by our driver and then transfer by bus to Sapa. The bus ride uphill to Sa Pa takes a little over an hour, giving you a glimpse of the stunning vistas and impressive rice terraces. You will have breakfast at hotel before we start the trip to Cat Cat and Sin Chai villages of Black H'Mong tribe. We relax at the foot of the stunning waterfall and the vestige of a hydroelectric power station that was constructed by the French during the colonial time in Vietnam, then next 6 km to Sin Chai, the village located at the foot of Fansipan Mountain, “the roof of Vietnam and Indochina”. From here you can enjoy huge stunning landscapes before trekking back to Sapa town. The rest of the afternoon is free to explore the town on your own. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 2: SaPa - Lao Chai - Ta Van – Lao Cai - Hanoi (B, L, D)
After breakfast, you'll check out and leave your luggage in the hotel and trek down to Lao Chai village to visit the Tay and Dzay tribes, keep going along the bottom of Muong Hoa valley to visit Ta Van village where is home to the Dzay minority. This is the most beautiful ethnic village in the area. We have lunch in Dzay family.
In the afternoon, we transfer back to Sapa by motorbike/Jeep, get fresh with a shower in the hotel then head to Lao Cai station for night train back to Hanoi. You arrive in Hanoi and tour ends.
Note: You can stay in Sapa longer if you want.

My name is Luan, I have worked for 10 years as local guide, and I travelled in many places in Vietnam. My biggest dream is to travel all over the world and be able to share my great knowledge about Vietnam. With my family, we decided to support each other and open HANOI OLD QUARTER HOMESTAY & AUTHENTIC HANOI HOMESTAY.
My main objectives were to include what the travelers want the most which is experiencing the authentic Vietnamese life and exploring local activities. Today, I consider that the authentic Vietnamese life has become quite rare. Whenever or wherever you travel you all want discover new customs and learn more about a culture. So this inspired me to the host and share my home with the travelers from all over the world.
=== MY FAMILY ===
My Homestay were opened as the interfering cultural place to connect friends with new friends. The homestay couldn’t be more authentic without my family, all raised and born in Hanoi. As a longstanding Vietnamese tradition, my family includes three generations:
Me and my wife Nguyen Nhu Quynh (Name of the flower which only hatch in midnight of the Lunar New Year) – She works as the official staff. She also can speak Chinese because she lived in Shanghai for 3 years. We have a 4-year-old son together, his name is Do Truong An (Peaceful forever).
Nguyen Do Khai – My younger brother – a high school student. He helps me to take care the guests in evening and do like a safeguard for our homestay. So very SAFE at my homestay.
Nguyen Viet Thuy – My father – He is a retired cook. He can help you with the Traditional Vietnamese Food with an authentic taste. If you want to learn how to cook some tasty Vietnamese dishes or enjoy a family dinner, feel free to inform me in advance then we can prepare the dinner for you.
Finally, my mother Do Ngoc Lan also the Housekeeping Executive – She has been working in three star and four-star hotel for more than 15 years. So you can feel the cleanness, comfort and relaxation at my home.

My home is located in the Old quarter, the heart of Hanoi, surrounded by good restaurants and shops, in green, quiet streets within walking distance of Hoan Kiem Lake which is the perfect environment to enjoy your holidays.
The cozy rooms are lovely decorated with air-conditioning. Some of the rooms have a balcony with a nice view of the Old Quarter streets. The others rooms are located in the back of the building, which guarantees you a relaxing and quiet night.
