The Adirondack Lodge Cabin is an Authentic 1920's cabin that has been updated keeping its original charm. It sits on top of a small wooded hill with large white pines and balsam trees. The cabin is not lakefront but is close enough to the lake to HEAR THE LOONS and ideally located right in the Heart of the St. Regis Canoe Area, close to many launch access sites and just a 5 min walk to the sandy shore of Lake Clear for a swim. Open beam ceilings, kitchenette with beautiful birch bark cabinets, antique canoe shelf, snowshoe lamps, Adirondack chairs and local artwork all complement the cabin well. The cabin has one bedroom with a king log bed, small living room area, kitchenette, bathroom with shower and two screened in porches with tables to eat or relax with your favorite book!
The owners also live on the property and are on hand if needed for information and recommendations on favorite hikes, paddling, fishing, restaurants, swim spots, etc. There are local hiking guidebooks and area paddling maps in the cabin for guests to use.
The cabin has a 2 burner gas cook top, compact refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee-maker and all dishes, pots & pans. There is an indoor gas fireplace, outdoor campfire area and Propane Grill for BBQ. Pure 300' deep filtered well water-NO NEED TO BRING BOTTLED WATER! There is no cable or internet, but the cabin does have a small TV/VCR to play movies (a good variety of movies are in the cabin), IDOC with radio and alarm. Cell Phone service works best with Verizon, in nearby Saranac Lake the library, coffee shops, mcdonalds all have free wifi. Campwood for sale nearby. Boat rentals nearby.
PLEASE NOTE: We only rent by the week, Saturday-Saturday in July & August. Other months are a 3 night min.
The perfect, affordable Adirondack getaway!

All bedding and bath towels are included and enough bath towels are on hand to last your stay. Our bedding is good quality and I try to line dry the sheets if the weather permits (we have had guests comment on how well the sheets smell-good old fresh air!)Please bring your own beach towels.
