We both have lots of helpful hints and tips of what to get up to in London. We also love to find out about other people's lives and adventures!

Mortlake has all the benefits of a lovely leafy safe neighbourhood but is easy to get into the centre of London. Richmond park is a 10 minute walk and is a must for anyone coming to London for the first time. It has a seven mile track going around the park that is fantastic for walking, cycling (you can hire bikes in the park) and running. There are two cafés in the park and hundreds of deer!
Richmond centre is a short train ride away and has excellent shops ranging from high street brands to boutiques. It also has lots of cafes, restaurants and sits next to the River Thames. A must in the summer months.
World famous heritage site, Kew Gardens is nearby and is a wonderful place to visit with children - rain or shine.

Free all day street parking. Also the train is a 3 minute walk and takes you direct to Waterloo (central London) in 20 minutes. Regular, local bus routes give access to all local areas and to central London

Adrian and I bought our charming home two years ago and we love it! We have been living in London for over 10 years so we know our great city well. We take advantage of our city visiting all the different areas, enjoying the world class art galleries, live music, festivals, markets and most importantly trying all the different restaurants too! For a quieter day we are outdoorsy people - cycling, running or walking along the river or through Richmond park, finishing it off with a delicious cup of coffee and a read of the newspapers. Further a field we go walking, surfing and skiing too!
