In a quiet street not far from the Central Station, you can find our happy house where to spend your beautiful week (- end) in Antwerp, ideal for business as well as for travelling couples (also with children).
We are Frà and Dominique –an Italian- Belgian couple- and we have been trying to re-create the differences of our cultures in the project of the house, not forgetting our architectural studies. La casa di Frà is part of our double-house renovation plan, we'll be next-door neighbors, but you will enjoy your own totally private space and terrace.
On the ground floor you'll find a bathroom (with shower) and a bedroom with a double bed with space for an extra little children bed; on the first floor a bright open space with living room and the kitchen. If the weather is more Italian then Belgian, you can drink a nice Belgian beer on the sunny terrace.
Inside you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen (microwave, dishwasher, toaster, pots…), kitchen towels, tea, coffee, plus other basic things to cook (salt, pepper, sugar).
On your arrival, we'll offer you a welcome packet to enjoy the first moment of your stay in Antwerp.
We provide you also bed linen, towels but we kindly request you to bring your own shampoo, shower gel.
Internet connection and TV are always available.
If you're travelling with babies or small children, we can help you with toys, a baby bed (but without the bed linen for hygienic reason) and a chair to eat at no charge.
Inside you'll find enough information for exploring Antwerp and its surrounding, but we'll advice you too if needed.
Because we are located in the rather Moroccan area, you can find also all type of Mediterranean food (olives, feta, fish, herbs, vegetables...) .
On Friday there is a small food market where you can buy fresh fruit and vegetables.
“La casa di Frà” is just one minute walk to the main streets with supermarkets and other kind of shops including a really good bakery at the end of our the street.
If you decide not to cook and to go out instead, you can reach the city center by foot (ca 15-20 min), by tram (ca 10-15 min) or by bike (you can rent one in the city center or at the station), or you can go out to the trendy closeby area Zurenborg (10 min walk) full of restaurants and pubs where young Belgian people, and less tourists, usually spend their nights.
