A lovely, large comfortable room with plenty of seating. Select a king bed or twins. A Historic 1851 room overlooks scenic Sugar Creek. 2 antique quilts and antiques of the period decorate. WIFI, nature, music, art, gardens. Share bath.
The Inn was built in 1851 and retains it's original glory with the historic details, large windows that let in light with the wonderful view of Sugar Creek, old trees, and formal gardens. The hosts, Alan & Barbara have personally added high style to the interior design.
The Quilt Room is especially inviting with wonderful old quilt hangings, original art, large sofa, bright and cheery decor, with Sugar Creek view.

Guests have access to the library, TV, WiFi, formal gardens, and natural park setting on a private estate. Breakfast is served in a elegant formal setting with the morning music of Alan White, pianist. Very quiet, safe, and peaceful accommodations.

Crawfordsville is a unique community of retired artists, small industry( except for RC Donnelly Publishers), the exceptional Wabash College, home of Lew Wallace (Ben Hur), Queen Anne architecture, antique shops, and Sugar Creek; the outstanding premier spot for fly fishing in the mid-west.
Safe private parking. 5 to10 minutes to town, near swimming and racing events. Close to: Purdue U., DePauw U., Indianapolis, In,. Danville, IL, 2- 1/2hrs from Chicago. Parke Co. Covered Bridges, 1 hr + or - from Indianapolis Airport. Canoe and Kayak rental available. You can launch your boats from our property and, if possible, arrange for us to assist you at take out.
The Inn is for guests over 12 years of age. It is non-smoking, no guest pets Inn. Guest rooms are on the second floor and not suitable for handicapped individuals. The historic Mill and nature trails are for guests of the B&B to explore and enjoy.
Yountsville Mill- Inn, & Gardens is noted for desirable photographic and artistic sites.
We want our guests to enjoy this beautiful historic Inn, gardens with an abundance of birds and wild life with respect for other guests. Safety is foremost in the swimming pool, creek stomping, and trail manners. The second floor Quilt Room is business traveler friendly. Wifi access, two comfy bathrobes, large windows for light and view. Away from the crowds with outside areas to walk and enjoy nature. Ideal for single females to feel safe and wake to music and an extraordinary breakfast with friends.
The Quilt room accommodates two guests. Please request twin beds if preferred.
Smoking is not permitted in the buildings.
Children under 12 are better staying in the Vacation Cottage. All guests must furnish their own pool towels.
Unregistered guests, friends or family, may join breakfast with a reservation and fee providing there is space available.

We are two artistic retirees who love history, gardens, flowers, art, music, and nature.
The Vacation Cottage is a charming 1964 house that is surrounded by woods, nature trails, and sits over a spring fed, bubbling creek, It is fully equipped so that you are self sufficient and have a house key to come and go as you please. This offers you a private place to get away from daily worries and work, to have peace and quiet or explore creeks and rocks that is Indiana's most scenic, natural setting. Go back to work refreshed and recharged.
NEW 2ND Location for business, and short term temp. employment. The Ristine-White Guest House on the north side of Wabash Campus on fraternity row. When finished the 2nd floor will have 3 rooms w/baths and a large room on the entry level with sitting room, bedroom, w/bath. Pictures to come.
Crawfordsville, IN offers many interesting things to do. Museums, state parks, country roads to bike, and near to Lafayette (30 mi), Indianapolis, auctions, antique stores, and Amish countryside scenes. The area is famous for visiting the remaining old mills and covered bridges. Chicago is only 2.5 hours north, Indianapolis with the 500 Speedway, zoo, Children's Museum, IMA (Art museum), The Pacers, Colts, Theater, major fashion malls are 45 minutes.
We enjoy visiting with all guests and share our knowledge of the plants, local history, and the woolen mill. We feel honored when guests arrive as strangers and leave as friends. Inquiries are welcome.
