À propos de ce logement
Your room is the Master Bedroom in a gracious, modern Mexican home nestled on a cul-de-sac in a tranquil neighborhood close to Restaurants, Museums, Concert Venues, Parks, Hiking Trails, the Guelazuetza Auditorium and the Iglesia de Santo Domingo
It’s a pleasant walk from here to the town square. The Historic Center extends well beyond the square and there are lots of things to see and do (and eat) along the way. There are bus stops nearby and yellow taxis everywhere.
Friendly cat (Carmen) dog (Guapo) and wi-fi are included in your booking as are: Your own private bathroom. Clean, safe, drinking water from every tap. Great lighting. American plumbing. Fluffy towels. Plenty of mirrors and an English-speaking hostess who is happy to provide local insight and information if and when you need it.
We are a ukulele friendly household and we look forward to seeing you soon.

The neighborhood is just close enough to what's happening to be central and just far enough away from the action to provide a respite once you come home.
The house is three blocks from one of the most charming streets in Oaxaca and a pleasant ten minute walk from the Andador Turistico (Pedestrian Walkway) that's a must-see for anyone's first trip to Oaxaca.
Taxis abound in Oaxaca and can be hailed on the street. They are usually safe, clean and inexpensive.
We are within two blocks of bus stops. The bus fare is six pesos and can zip you around town in a matter of minutes.

I moved to Oaxaca from New York City in the winter of 2006 because a friend told me if I lived in Oaxaca, I’d never be bored---and was she ever right! Art openings, dance classes, film festivals, concerts, lunches and outings with friends to small towns in the mountains, or breathtaking pine forests, classes given and classes taken and the day to day things that make house holding a full-time job keep me happy and busy—and never, ever bored.
The Oaxaca I love is beautiful, safe and a treat for all five senses. I never leave the house without discovering something I’ve never seen before, so I encourage friends to come and discover the Oaxaca that makes them as happy as my Oaxaca makes me.
