Inviting and unique home in the Art Museum Area of Philadelphia.

Close to many attractions, including: The Barnes, Philadelphia Museum of Art, Fairmount Park, Franklin Institute, Eastern State Penitentiary... and the list continues!

This space is one of a kind!

A modern home features high ceilings, a loft-like home office, a small kitchen, outdoor balcony, and private bedroom.

The steps are STEEP, much like a LADDER. Don't worry, the handrails are sturdy!

When you enter the home, you are greeted by high ceilings and multiple sky lights. The walls are decorated with large original artwork. The space has original sculptures and handcrafted lights. The comfortable leather couch pulls out. Guest 3 and 4 can enjoy convert the sofa into a sleeping space.

The dining table is made of handcrafted glass and can seat 6 guests. The kitchen is small, but it has everything you need to cook a meal. Note: there is no microwave in the kitchen. All other appliances are full sized. The refrigerator has an ice maker and filtered water spout. The counter top on the left is a butcher block. The oven and stove are in perfect condition. There is a coffee and espresso maker for you to use.

Up the ladder-like stairs, there is an office space. The desk is large enough for you to spread papers out and work on your laptop. There are plenty of plugs in this area to provide electricity to all of your gadgets.

Up a few more stairs, there is the bedroom area. More artwork decorates the bedroom walls. The bed is dressed with crisp sheets, and fluffy yet firm pillows. At the foot of the bed, there is a tv.

Off the bedroom the there is the bathroom. The shower is fully tiled with hand painted glass tiles. There is an artistic touch in every corner--even the bathroom. There is a full row of mirrors above the sink, and a toilet in the bathroom.

Off the bedroom there is a deck with outdoor furniture. You can relax in chairs or in a chaise lounge. Enjoy a little outdoor space in the city!

Guests will have access to the whole house with the exception to the art studio and storage space in the back of the house. This space is behind the kitchen, and will be locked during your stay.

Guests can make themselves at home, as they have full access to the rest of the house!

I will greet you during check in, and wish you well for the rest of your say. We will meet again for check out. During your stay, I will be on call if needed.

Fairmount or the Art Museum Area is a charming neighborhood. There are many families who reside in this area because of the safe streets, friendly atmosphere, and close proximity to everything downtown.

This neighborhood has many shops, cafes, restaurants, and bars for you to enjoy during your trip.

The Broad Street line drops visitors on the eastern boarder of this neighborhood, about a 20 minute walk away. There are many bus stops that run through Fairmount. Check out SEPTA's website for details.

Parking can get congested on nights and weekends. Pay careful attention to posted signs, as ticketing is taken seriously. There are a parking lot on 22nd and Fairmont for a long term or short term parking solution.

Rates and minimum stays are subject to change during holidays and special events.

The stairs are VERY STEEP, like a ladder. If you have mobility limitations, this might not be the listing for you.

If you lock yourself out of the home, there will be a lock out fee. During the hours 8am-7pm, the lock out fee is $25. If the lock out is after 7pm and before 8am, the lock out fee is $100.

Her place is gorgeous and a perfect place to relax and complete your ideal art craft. This home had my imagination moving rapidly because of the detail painting around Jen's place. Neighborhood is quiet with nice neighbors that greet you as well. The only problem I had was parking, but everything else was perfect.

Loved the place. Got lucky with 70 degree weather in February so the balcony was relaxing and made my trip. This listing is what Airbnb is all about.

Jen's loft is beautiful and in a wonderful neighborhood. Everything about the listing is accurate and Jen was available if needed but we you won't need her as all is provided upon arrival. Thanks, Jen!

Jen was a great host and her place was fantastic. She responded to my messages almost instantly and was very knowledgeable of the area. When we arrived, the home was very clean and well prepared for our stay. She had even left us a bottle of wine out which we thought was a very kind gesture. The stairs were a little dangerous but after a few tries you learn how to get down safely. Would highly recommend Jen and her home.

I am a lover of travel. I enjoy reading (real books and audio books), yoga, and almost any outdoor activity.

AirBnb is fantastic! It brings me great happiness to host others while they visit my favorite city, Philadelphia.

I was just named Philly's AirBnb Queen. Please check out Philadelphia Magazine's full article by searching "Jen Jordan queen of Airbnb Philly".
