For many, Nashville is a sports town. Visitors may enjoy seasonal teams like the NFL's Tennessee Titans, baseball's The Nashville Sounds, the NHL excitement of the Nashville Predators and the excellent college football and basketball programs of Vanderbilt and Middle Tennessee State universities.
We would be remiss if we did not mention the possibilities of the Nashville dining experiences available to visitors, whether your tastes lean towards the fine dining of The Catbird Seat or Etch, more casual but delicious fare such as Papa Turney's Barbeque, the legendary milkshakes at Elliston Place Soda Shop, the burgers at Brown's Diner, or that famed Nashville-originated dish, the hot chicken at Prince's or Hattie B's.
Here for business? We are five minutes from Nashville International Airport. The sparkling new Convention Center is 15 minutes away in downtown, and we are close to a myriad of business conference rooms in the area. At the end of a day full of meetings and networking, escape back to the respite of Turner Terrace where you can regroup, go over the day's work, spread out with your computer and documents on the table, and strategize for the next day of business success.
The highlight of the space, of course, is the 90" projector TV screen! Enhanced with 7.1 surround sound, the room is perfectly set for you to enjoy your favorite movies or live sporting events so that you will almost feel like you're at the cinema!
The bedroom is decorated in a fun Road Trip/Route 66 theme. It offers a king bed, a book library and a 17" TV with remote. There is also ample closet and drawer space.
The full bath continues the Road Trip theme and offers a basket of toiletries in case you've left yours at home. Towels provided.

We look forward to welcoming you to Turner Terrace.
Once you arrive, you will be able to reach us via email, phone or text throughout your visit should problems or questions arise, and we want you to consider us your home away from home. Otherwise, we will be invisible! We live on the main and top floors, but it's not likely that you will hear us. Our privacy is important to us, and we respect yours, too.
In addition, I am happy to help you plan your visit before you arrive, if you like. I can share with you insights about all the best places to visit and dine, according to your interests.
If you'd like a tour of the Nashville area, I can point you to any of several touring companies here in town if you are interested.
Also, we can provide rides around town via Lyft or Uber, should you require it. If you need a ride, let us know as soon as possible, and I will make arrangements to be available as scheduling permits.
Ours is a non-smoking and non-alcohol property. Thank you for helping us maintain a family-friendly environment.
We are excited to welcome you to Turner Terrace, and we hope you will consider us your Nashville home away from home. We respect your privacy, and we know that you will respect ours. Just a couple of minor things to note:
* Since our two cats, Sampson and Jada, live on the upper two floors with us, and are indoor-only, we unfortunately cannot welcome your furry family members. Sampson and Jada are both docile, sweet-natured cats, and may welcome you when you first arrive. It's unlikely that you will see much of them after you check-in, as they will remain with us.
* Because we are part of a neighborhood, we ask that you maintain normal noise levels, especially after 10 p.m.
* Ours is a non-smoking and no-alcohol property. Thank you for helping us maintain a family-friendly atmosphere.
* Parties or other gatherings are prohibited, as there just isn't available parking space.

I've been living in Nashville, Tennessee for almost 25 years after moving from my native, beloved West Virginia. I've been working in the music business media most of that time. I live in the close suburb of Hermitage with my husband Randy and two cats, Sampson and Jada. I love Nashville and enjoy sharing it with visitors from near and far. At our place, you are a very convenient five minutes from Nashville International Airport and 12 minutes from downtown Music City, USA!
When you stay with us, you'll have an entire basement to yourself. It has everything you could want, including a microwave and small refrigerator, plus a huge movie theater-style TV screen. We will welcome you, answer any questions you might have and then leave you alone. You have a private entrance to the basement, so you won't have to worry about disturbing us in any way. When we travel, our privacy is valuable to us, and we respect yours, too.
My favorite travel destinations have been London and the Cotswolds, Salzburg, the Swiss Alps including Zermatt, Savannah, and a couple of road trips including Route 66 and cross-country treks. My travel dream list is too long to get into, but there is still much of Europe I long to see, especially, and as much of the U.S. as I can.
One kind of quirky thing about our adventures is that we have visited 36 state capitals! I'm looking forward to the day when we hit the 50th.
Travel and music are my two main passions in life. As long as I have both of those, and my family, then I am a very lucky person indeed.
My life motto: What are we waiting for?
I'm looking forward to meeting you - come and be comfortable at our place during your Nashville visit! You are always welcome here!
