Dear Nerijus, Having such guests like the three of you is a great gift for us. It's a pity that time was not long enough to get deeper into conversation on the subject you were presenting. We both look forward to seeing you again, dear friends. Big hug to your ladies Ewa & Piotr

Piotr greeted us upon arrival and was very accommodating. He has a fantastic, friendly disposition with great, youthful enthusiasm. His wife, Ava, is a beautiful, sweet woman who is also full of youthful spirit and takes a great interest in each guest and their needs. We were welcomed immediately and given a tour of the house and grounds. Our rooms were amazing. The entire place is tastefully decorated with period pieces and photos of Piotr's family. The history of the place is incredible!

We had a fantastic stay at Piotr and Ewa's wonderful old house. The house looks exactly as in the pictures. It is a great experience to stay in such a special house, to enjoy the library, the fireplace, the large garden and the private access to the lake. We especially liked the evenings, when we had great dinners with all guests and the hosts and talked about the history of the house and all kinds of other things. Ewa and Piotr are very kind and funny people, with lots of great stories and tips. Food (breakfast is included and lunch and dinner are optional) is great. We hope to return some time!

It's hard to explain, this place is an extraordinary spot and following my experience with airbnb, it's also very uncommon in here. It's one of the rare places, where the idea of it becomes true. The place is running by Piotr and Ewa. It's lovely, quiet and a little back into the 19th Century. You will get sleep without Noise, a real breakfast and even a real dinner too. Piotr was not at the place because of travelling. Ewa is open minded, with a lot of respect, tolerant, even to middle aged men

I drove down from Estonia, totally underestimated travel times, even lost my way on Lithuanian country roads, and arrived hours late, at half past ten in the evening. Guess what - not only did Piotr give me a kind welcome anyhow, he even cooked dinner! So there we sat for another couple of hours, and time flew as Piotr told of his own life lived in 4 different countries, of his family arriving in the Baltics in the middle ages, and how he spent 7 years renovating Gacionys Manor which had fallen in total disrepair in communist times. Today, it is classified as a national monument of Lithuania. It is also a great pleasure to stay in. The entrance hall, living room, library and living kitchen form a big space with little doors between them, with a number of cozy armchairs and sofas. Just the kind of place where you would want to spend long winter evenings reading books by the fireside. But this was summer, and it was a pleasure being served breakfast on the terrace (between the columns shown in the picture), and then to stroll around the huge gardens around the house, down to Piotr's own lake. As to the guests' private rooms: I was in no. 1 and it was worthy of a five star hotel. I am certain the same is true for the other rooms. And a few more words on Piotr himself: He is a perfectly mannered gentleman and he probably speaks your language, too (in our case, we resorted to Italian that he knows like a native speaker). Staying in Gacionys Manor is definitely worth the drive, and the same is true for meeting Piotr - a five star host.
